and a leading technology company. It combines the Banks expertise in trade and investors with the technological proficiency of the tech company. Headquartered in Singapore, their ambition is to become the leading platform in originating and distributing supply chain finance assets globally.
Role summary:
They are looking for an ambitious individual with entrepreneurial spirit to join our Commercial – Origination team with a focus in Structuring and Solutioning. The individual will have a positive and friendly attitude with three primary areas of responsibilities
(1) developing client value proposition in the space of supply chain finance
(“SCF”) and receivables finance (“RF”);
(2) Managing business and deal enablement;
(3) Leading end-to-end deal execution
Responsibilities:
(1) Developing client value proposition
Co-develop SCF and RF product (“Product”) strategy based on market insights, existing gaps, and exploring opportunities along with Corporate Coverage.
Develop bespoke transaction structures which fulfils client needs and address clients’ pain points with appropriate risk mitigation solutions for internal stakeholders and investors.
Provide market feedback to Trade Product team to develop or enhance product and system.
(2) Managing business and deal enablement
Lead the deal team to ensure timely achievement of execution timeline and escalate gaps to deal team.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to conduct corporate and transactional due diligence.
Embed quality in all document touchpoints – developing related investor materials, writing internal deal memos/approvals, etc.
Drive and handle partnerships with other fintech players in the ecosystem
(3) Leading end-to-end deal execution
Support Corporate Coverage on all product related aspects of prospecting and client pitch.
Provide product expertise and coordinate with other internal teams to structure bespoke solutions.
Lead all aspects of deal execution, including partnering closely with Risk, Legal, D&I to ensure timely and seamless execution of a deal mandate.
Preparing deal review notes and following it through to the approval process.
Role specific technical competencies:
o Knowledge of SCF and RF products and related risks, including but not limited to credit risk, fraud risk, FCC risk, legal risks and etc.
o Experience in cross-functional project management
o Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
o Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., excel, word, PowerPoint)
o Proficient in English is a must and in other languages is a plus
Qualifications (training, licences, memberships and certifications):
o College degree level education required; Mater’s degree is a plus
o 6+ years of experience in Transaction Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, or Corporate Credit Analyst
o Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
o Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking abilities
o Good team-player, but also able to work independently and make logical decisions
