Salary (Commensurate with Experience): $2,800 to $3,800 + Bonus

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of transactions by ensuring that all transactions are authorized, comply with prevailing policies and supporting documents are in order.
• Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes.
• Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct accounts.
• Conduct training to a team of financial appointment holders on procedures for managing and controlling resources and expenditure so as to carry out procurement, payment and reimbursement activities on the finance systems.
• Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements.
• Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.
• Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customer-centric service to customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates with 2 years of experience with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.
• Diploma holder with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• On the job training will be provided.

• The Client Onboarding reviewer works in partnership with RM to get the client file to required standards of

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain corporate banking accounts, ensuring accuracy in account information and transactions such as fixed deposit placements (Corporate clients).
• Process account openings, modifications, and closings in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in loan processing.
• Maintain and update KYC documentation and systems to reflect accurate client information.
• Analyze and verify customer identification documents and information.

Job Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in corporate banking account opening operations.
• Basic KYC knowledge.
• Comfortable with reviewing simple Chinese documents/emails on ad-hoc basis (you may use various translation tools for this task)

• Approve, ratify or recommend credit requests within delegated authority balancing risk awareness with potential regulatory and legal implications.
• Stay updated on local credit related regulations and ensure compliance by regularly updating credit manuals and directives.
• Review and approve rectification plans for credit violations ensuring adherence to portfolio covenants and special credit terms.
• Provide training to local credit teams and ensure the implementation of updated directives in alignment with group standards.
• Continuously update knowledge of regional economic, political and financial market developments.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a credit risk role preferably in the private banking sector.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and assess risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
