Our client is international financial services firm that provides alternative investment solutions to clients. They partner with private banks and asset management firms to provide bespoke products such as private equity funds, private credit, infrastructure funds etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for Director, Private Banking Distribution Sales and the role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with private banks to market the firm’s capabilities on alternative asset products to them
• Business development and maintain relationships with private banking channels
• Work with other teams to source and structure alternative asset investment solutions for private banks
• Provide good quality of product solutions and service to private banking channel clients
• Keep track on the alternative asset management market on investment trends
• Organize and participate in industry events/roadshow

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or other discipline
• At least 7 years of private banking channel sales/ distribution experience
• Strong network in private banking industry
• Knowledge of alternative asset classes such as private equity, private equity, infrastructure, venture capital funds etc
• Good sales track record

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our project on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension and potential conversion to a permanent role based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java 8, Ansible, and proficiency in Kafka and Cassandra. Experience with shell scripting and Linux commands for log analysis, along with building and deploying applications using Jenkins, is essential. Knowledge of setting up new environments is also required. Experience in the banking domain and familiarity with Fix messages for Equities is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Java Development: Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 8, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and quality.
2. Ansible Automation: Implement and manage automation tasks using Ansible for efficient deployment and configuration management.
3. Data Streaming with Kafka: Contribute to data streaming projects using Kafka for real-time data processing and integration.
4. Database Management with Cassandra: Assist in Cassandra database operations and optimization for data storage and retrieval.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Java 8.

What will your day look like?

• Support delivery of financial performance plans and metrics for Agency Services.

• Support end to end processes within the business, working closely with the operations and enablement teams.
• Prompt and accurate completion of checklists, preparation and processing of roll over instructions, rate fixing, drawdown and payment instructions, maintenance of Global Diary reporting items in accordance with BU and governance / audit procedures.
• Support development and implementation of business and operational initiatives
• Ensure adherence to Group, divisional process, policy and procedural requirements.

The Opportunity

The Job

We are looking for a product manager to support the Product team in multiple projects, such as system migration, other frond-end system integration into ebao and control remediation.

The incumbent plays a critical role in supporting the projects on launching of new systems, system integration and data migration by assisting in gap and data analysis, product rationalization and setting up tables in the systems. In addition, the incumbent may also be required to work with the subject matter experts to gather, collate and document the requirements for systems development and workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Product Memo mapping review tagged to Product in the systems migration and integration exercise.
• Review and confirm system related requirements that require sign-off from product business owner.
• Draw up workflows &/or processes (SOP) for Product’s involvement.
• Liaise and work with different functions and IT delivery teams on the clarifications of the requirements.
• Ensure testing outcomes are of an acceptable quality and requirements set by Head of Products or Product Leads prior to sign-off
