As an Operational Control Analyst for the Asia Rice Platform, your role is to be a key financial partner to the platform, and be primarily responsible for timely reporting, monitoring and analysis of the Business Results and Exposures. You are required to understand the trade flows, strategies and to produce commentary and analysis as and when required. You will be responsible for the monthly closing process and working closely with near-shore Accounting. About the Role:

• Manage and support the overall financial reporting and financial closing in compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and Group reporting requirements, and financial analysis for various entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze P&L variances month-over-month, perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, and provide advice on appropriate corrective measures and treatment.
• Actively support month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition. Review and highlight any variances to the business prior to monthly and annual closing.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and qualified chartered accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Financial accounting and bookkeeping
• Handle day-to-day financial operations within the company & group (payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other transactions)
• Record accounts payable and staff claims and process payment
