Role Purpose

We’re looking for someone like that to:

- Support the Wealth Management business with documentation preparation required for periodic KYC.
- Perform AML controls on names screening for periodic KYC review. Ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, standards and policies. - Maintain in-depth awareness of potential legislative and policy breaches and act to proactively prevent their occurrence.
- Through in-depth knowledge of process, engage in process improvement & digital transformation projects to streamline & automate the name screening & review process.

You have:

- Experience in Wealth Management Onboarding, Maintenance, or Periodic KYC Review in Hong Kong and/or Singapore regulatory landscape.
- Experience in leading and/or implementing process changes & automation favored.
- Client focused and motivated to work in partnership with front to back stakeholders to define practical solutions that meets the internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong risk and control mindset with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual budget and regular projections
• Analyze monthly P/L, monitor against budget, and provide commentaries for management reporting
• Review balance sheet schedules and take action to clear outstanding items
• Provide guidance to departments in financial matters, policies, and procedures
• Review and improve work processes for productivity gains
• Prepare cash flow projections and consolidated Group cash flow statements
• Draft approval papers for submission to the Board of Directors and Finance Board Committee
• Monitor funds for payments and prepare funds transfer instructions
• Maintain bank accounts, bank signatories, and related documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Business/ACCA completed

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Reporting
  • Review the financials of the Schools, Offices, Centres and Institutes (SOCIs) monthly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate presentation.
  • Prepare standardised regular financial performance reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate the financial performance with relevant stakeholders to determine any actions to be taken.
  • Provide training / guidance to the SOCIs' management team (e.g. HODs, Assistant Deans, Budget co-ordinators).

• Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, SGX results announcement, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
• Perform analytical review of 5 subsidiary companies’ monthly financials.
• Assist with internal reporting to the Board and to external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.

• End-to-end preparation of the annual report.
