Position Purpose

For the scope of Global Banking APAC and as part of the first line of defense, the CCCO for Global Banking APAC (GBA) is responsible for implementing and maintaining a strong Conduct & Permanent control framework on all non-financial risks (operational, conduct and regulatory) throughout the 1LOD across GBA in strong partnership with the Global Banking APAC métiers, APAC functions and APAC region/territories, and in full alignment and integration with Global Banking worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Compile investment reports/presentations on existing and prospective investments including valuation and investment performance
• Responsible for supporting the investments, with a strong focus on understanding financial products (mainly listed equities, listed equity options and OTC structured products).
• Prepare Management Accounts and Financial Statements of the Company on a yearly basis, or when necessary, to comply with local statutory reporting requirements
• Responsible for liaising with tax service providers to comply with the relevant statutory tax in the necessary jurisdiction (mainly Singapore and United States)
• Responsible for liaising with the private bankers/retail banker for relevant investment and trade execution (mainly Singapore and United States)
• Ad-hoc project management tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the finance or investment sector
• Experienced in dealing with US market stock trading and option equity trading
• A focus in the asset and wealth management industry would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and reporting skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Words
• Understanding financial markets/trends and interest in private markets is essential
