• Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in consolidation of group accounts and preparation of annual statutory audit reports
• Experience with SAP GL, AR, AP, FA and CO applications

Role:

Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, you will lead the accounting team and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial reporting and analysis
• Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages
• Monitor and analyze the accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Oversee the month-end, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting to local management and Munich Global Accounting
• Lead & supervise a team of Accounting Staff in day-to-day operations
• Lead and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits
• Lead and liaise with Group Auditors for internal audits
• Responsible for Corporate Tax (including Branches), MES and GST audit, reporting and filing
• Ensure compliances to both local and global accounting guidelines
• Undertake and lead financial projects
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

This is a contract role. We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for Commercial General Insurance policies. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer queries, providing exceptional service, and resolving customer concerns promptly and accurately. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to all customer enquiries and requests via all communication channels promptly and professionally
• Manage and resolve customer complaints and escalate when necessary to provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
• Process policy renewals, cancellations and reinstatements accurately, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and policy documentation in the company’s database
• Collaborate with other departments including underwriters, claims and finance to ensure smooth operations and fast turnaround times
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating professionalism, and integrity.

Capabilities and Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in any field
• GCE ‘O’ Level, ITE or SPM holders with relevant experience will be considered
• Minimum 3 years of experience in General, Health and Life Insurances
• Prior experience in customer service or insurance-related roles in preferred
• Possess knowledge and understanding of the service to sale model
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address customer concerns and find appropriate solutions
• Excellent customer service phone etiquette
• Strong verbal / written communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately to customer needs
• Minimum 1 year experience in start-up companies is preferred
