Responsibilities

• Adhere to the sanction check requirements and maintain proper, accurate and complete records of the checks made.
• Assist the Business Divisions in ensuring all required sanction checks are conducted with no breaches in the branch’s policies and service standards.
• Support Director RMC in control owner of sanction policies and effective implementation.
• Support Director RMC in undertaking regular reviews of sanction procedures and recommend/implement modification where appropriate to ensure that any business risks are mitigated to the maximum extent possible.
• Support Director RMC in inculcating strong risk culture within the Singapore operations.
• Support Director RMC in ensuring the branch keeps up with sanction regulatory updates and implementation.
• Support Director RMC and CFOO Singapore in ad-hoc projects/review work assigned.
• Maintain an environment of ‘no surprises’, open communication and transparency.
• Ensure compliance and no breach in DAL, code of conduct and policies set for self.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Business/Finance/Marketing or relevant discipline
• Experience in general insurance operations is an added advantage

Job Description

Responsible for the compliance of AML/CFT, Data Protection and Complaint matters of Private Banking Departments:

1. Conduct client on-boarding due diligence assessment and verification of on-boarding documents.

2. Conduct periodic KYC review and trigger KYC review of existing clients.

3. Review on-going screening hits and financial in/out flow of accounts.

4. Review client instruction to update non-financial related information or to request for additional services.

5 Attend to requests or queries from PB front office, Legal and Compliance Department, Internal Auditors and External Auditors on business compliance related matters.

6. Handle client complaints, data protection reporting and other regulatory related reporting to the 2nd line departments.

7.Maintain up to date PB procedures, forms and templates related to business compliance functions.

8. Conduct quarterly AML training and new staff training.

Job Requirements

1. 3-5 years relevant experience in AML/KYC compliance functions in Private banking or wealth management industry.

2. Familiar with local and international regulations related to compliance functions (e.g. MAS Notice 626, CRS, PDPA, PB Code of Conduct and MAS Guidelines on PB Controls).

3. Experience in complaint handling, review of counterparties and investment suitability framework is good to have.

This position performs all duties in Accounts Payable (AP) and HR support functions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input and process completed purchases in the accounting system, after matching and validating suppliers’ invoices, purchase orders and other supporting documents.
• Process and prepare payments by cheque/TT/GIRO to vendors.
• Consolidate and prepare petty cash payments monthly.
• Handle all enquiries relating to AP.
• Update and maintain master record of vendors in the accounting system.
• Reconcile AP Creditors Accounts in GL.
• Update leasing and hire purchase schedules.
• Prepare the provisions, accruals, prepayments and clearing accounts monthly.
• Process month-end closing of AP module in accounting system.
• Generate monthly AP reports.
• Prepare a statement of unpresented cheques.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules.
• Handle banking matters.
• Provide effective HR Business partnering support to all staff in HR matters and issues.
• Effectively utilize HRIS to record, update employees’ data.
• Provide excellent customer service in responding to enquiries effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain employees’ data and files and ensure they are kept up to date.
• Provide support on the recruitment process including shortlisting of candidates, organization of interviews, administration of new work pass, documents submission, verification of documents.
• Prepare documents for onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist in the organizing of staff events and ordering of hampers.
• Assist to collate data for Group Insurance renewal.
• Assist on ad-hoc duties / projects as requested by the Director, Finance & Manager, HR.

Finance Executive - AP

Responsibilities:

• Daily Accounts Payable (AP) function which includes keying in of Supplier invoices and preparation of payments to vendors
• Ensure purchases and payments adhere to Company policy
• Liaise with internal and external customer in payment related matters
• Problem solving related to 3rd party payment matters
• Monthly Vendor reconciliation
• Prepare Withholding Tax forms for foreign suppliers if required
• Assist in booking of flights and accommodation for Professional Development
• Perform any other duties as assigned
• Assist Finance staff & other designated staff as directed by Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience
