Job Description

Insurance Operations

• Collaborate with General Counsel to report on cover arrangements, premiums, and recoveries.
• Coordinate with brokers on documentation and resolve coverage issues as needed.
• Follow up on hull claims with brokers in alignment with the fleet operations team.
• Manage the timely renewal of all global corporate and business insurance policies, including professional indemnity, workers' compensation, marine cargo, directors and officers, travel, business interruption, cyber security, and property risk.
• Prepare reports and claims records for insurance renewals.
• Instruct brokers to arrange and place appropriate insurance programs.
• Resolve insurance-related queries from internal departments and third parties.

Data Analysis and Loss Prevention

• Maintain and compile claims statistics and loss records for regular reporting.

Specialized Support

• Liaise with Average Adjustors in the event of General Average declarations.
• Provide assistance on fleet-related claims and coordinate with appointed Average Adjustors for Particular Average claims.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / Business / Insurance from a recognized university.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in the insurance industry.
