Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened. Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons. Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of monthly and year-end management reports and analysis by reviewing submissions from subordinates
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Provide supportfor various reporting including GST, treasury, investment returns, etc.
• Provide commentaries on operational performance and support planning, operations, and implementation of financial and internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices which may include review of policies and continual process re-engineering
• Assist and support projects/group tasks/duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (ACCA/CA)
• At least 5 years of financial accounting/reporting/finance operations experience
• System knowledge in Sap B1 or other ERP, proficient with excel
• Must be hands-on to do accounting work if needed (eg posting of JEs, etc)
• Possess clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to work in teams
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong in analysis of financial numbers and relevant accounting knowledge, including updates of relevant Accounting Standards and company policy to ensure books are maintained in compliance and order
• Comfortable to work with various stakeholders

Job Description:

• Recording and reconciling online sales
• Bank reconciliation
• Accruals and Journal Voucher
• Interco billing and reconciliation
• Preparation of balance sheet schedules
• Preparation of FS and 'group' FS
• Financial analysis
• Experience and competent in Singapore GST filing and rules
• Monthly closing of accounts
• Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with Director & review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.
• Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
• Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department's overall policy and procedure manual.
• Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the senior leadership team.
• Perform monthly consolidation for the different entities including reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions.
• Handle full set of accounts for 4 entities, including preparation of the relevant audit schedules, and ensure timely closure of monthly accounts for management reporting.
• Preparation of quarterly GST.
• Maintain the fixed asset register for all the entities and arrange for annual physical sighting of fixed assets.
• Preparation of the statutory financial statements for the different entities
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, in house secretary, tax agent on audit and tax matters.
• Monitor internal controls of assigned companies to ensure compliance to the company’s corporate policies and procedures.
• Compilation of monthly financial data (P&L) for management reporting purposes.

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in related fields.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Well-versed in MS Office especially MS Excel
• Possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet job objectives and deadlines.
• Experience with Autocount Software is an advantage
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description:

• Review and ensure all subsidiary companies within the Group accounts are closed timely for monthly closing and reporting.
• Liaise with subsidiaries to prepare monthly and yearly reporting packs to meet group reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare/review Group consolidated financial reports by performing consolidation entries, eliminations, and adjustments with timely and accuracy in accordance with IFRS/Singapore FRS as well as statutory guidelines.
• Assist in arranging Board of Directors and Audit Committee's meetings.
• Perform financial planning and analytical review ("FP&A") on consolidated statements.
• Prepare and coordinate for group budget and rolling forecast.
• Assist with SGX announcements and related matters.
• Prepare annual reports, audited financial statements, and statutory reports in adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, listing, GST, statutory & regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with relevant professionals covering external auditors, bankers, tax agent, sponsors etc.
• Responsible for the review and update of Group policies and ongoing improvement of reporting system on a group and entity basis.
• Actively involve in digitalization in order to improve and automate finance processes to improve efficiency and enhance analytics.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/ or another professional qualification equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant working experience with experience in group consolidation, audit, and SGX listed company preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and statutory legislation.
• Have good communication skills and be analytical, independent, and proactive .

Job Scope:

- Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely closing

- Provide management reports monthly & yearly & Audit Schedule to Finance Manager

- Handle Costing Reports of all outlets monthly and other reports if requested

- Ensure inter-company transactions tally among multi-companies

- Prepare/Review quarterly GST submission

- Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner

- Making sure compliance with all legislative tax & financial reporting policies and requirements

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management

Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in accountancy

- At least 4 years of handling full set account’s working experience, preferably F&B

- Software skills: Advanced MS Excel, word & Million software preferably

- Good communication skills in Mandarin and English - Positive working attitude

Job Responsibilities

- Oversee financial planning and business performance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, investment and risk management activities.

- You will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and adhere to corporate reporting timetables. You will also assist in implementation of management and administrative financial systems to provide structure for sustained business growth.

- To ensure compliance with established financial processes, local compliance requirements, financial reporting and review of revenue, expenditures, asset management, tax, management reporting and administration.

- You will be responsible for the implementation of finance strategies and objectives. You will manage and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

-You must possess the knowledge to evaluate the company's P&L and also plan for effective finance strategies.

Requirements

- Possess a degree in accounting or finance with at least 10 years of relevant experience.

- Prior experience from the F&B industry is an advantage.

- Have a strong understanding in inventory management and costing.

Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance, or equivalent. Degree preferred.

Knowledge in MYOB and Xero would be advantageous

At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience and 1 year supervisory experience
