Job Scope:

• Responsible for handling invoicing tasks, ensuring smooth coordination of all billing activities, including addressing billing-related inquiries across different departments
• Generate daily invoices for new customers and monthly invoices for recurring customers
• Prepare and send statements of account (SOA) to customers promptly
• Maintain and update the customer database
• Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence, and perform reporting activities in accordance with specific deadlines
• Reconcile daily e-payments and apply them against individual invoices
• Process credit card and GIRO applications, and communicate with clients and banks regarding failed deductions
• Handle billing and payment inquiries through hotline, inbound emails, and internal department transfers
• Assist in coordinating and resolving disputes related to account receivables, both internally and externally
• Perform other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of Accounts
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent qualification with working knowledge of Singapore FRS / IFRS standards.
• Experience in Audit and Assurance is preferred
• Preferably with at least 3 years of accounting experiences
• Proficient in Accounting Software - ERP
• Strong Excel knowledge and application

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping, data entry, and reconcile accounts payable/receivable and bank statements.

Ensure timely payment processing and seek necessary approvals in adherence to the Delegation of Authority.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

Degree in Accountancy or Finance.

ACCA or CPA Singapore equivalent.

At least 8 years of relevant work experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit/tax.

Commercial finance analytical experience in the SME consumer/F&B industry is advantageous.

Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong knowledge of Singapore Reporting Standards and other accounting regulations.

Meticulous and analytical with data.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proactive team player.

Experience with Hyperion (HFM) and Dynamics 365 ERP applications is a plus.

The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s financial operations across various finance functions. This position includes handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, grants management, assisting with budgeting, audit support, and fixed asset accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare electronic payments and cheques for suppliers.

Requirements

Reporting & Operation

- Lead the finance team and manage financial cycles, providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team, oversee the financial management, accounting and reporting matters;

- Establish business control over financial processes and complying with corporate policies, Financial Reporting Standards, legal, statutory and tax requirements, ensure compliance with SGX Mainboard listed rules;

- Proactively communicate with operating team, understand the work-in-progress, analyse the operating costs incurred, propose ideas to optimize cost saving and productivity;

- Work closely with joint venture stakeholders, regularly track the business and returns from joint venture;

- Control the progress and review the quarterly and annual consolidated accounts and variance analysis for submission to SGX;

- Presentation of quarterly / annual results, business progress to Audit Committee & Board of Directors;

- Highlight financial / operational variances and recommend action plan to CEO / peer managers;

- Involved in managing cross-functional project, put in place of accounting policies;

- Co-ordinate and work closely with corporate advisors for sustainability reports and any ad hoc reporting required by SGX or statutory board;

Treasury

- Review debts collections and payment to suppliers / subcontractors;

- Negotiate and work closely with banks for borrowing, interest rate, performance bond, banker guarantee, corporate guarantee, project financing, responsible for annual review from each bank;

- Cashflow projection and fund management, improve working capital management and facilitate business growth

Planning & Leadership

- Train up, influence and improve finance team, prioritize the tasks and direct the assignment

- Put in place of system and internal control procedures, evaluate the organization structure and reporting lines

- Regular discussion with CEO to evolve strategies, advise and align on long-term business and financial planning in line with corporation vision;

- Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business and risk management;

- Establish and develop relations with senior management, external partners and stakeholders;

- Review all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures.

Qualification of Chief Finance Officer

- An MBA or CPA is also highly desirable;

- At least 10 years' experience in the finance industry and proven leadership and management experience is essential – with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace;

- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.

- Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
