Job Description

1. Operationalizing the strategies designed by Head Office, the incumbent will be the leading person responsible for the overall development of actionable plans and setting clear directions to promote expansion of Private Banking business in the region, including strengthening cross-border linkages and business relationship with Head Office and domestic branches in China.

2. Provide strong leadership to solidify our Private Banking platform to deliver a world class client service and a comprehensive suite of product solutions to the HNW clients, with the aim of exceeding the given budget indicators in line with our Head Office’s and the Branch’s growth strategy.

3. Provide expertise in policy and process reengineering in the private banking business; Maintain high internal control standard of the Bank and ensure the Bank’s compliance policies are implemented effectively.

4.The incumbent should have good grasp of the latest market trends for wealth management business in both local and regional markets, excellent business acumen for translating ideas into results and understanding of the development cycle of wealth management products.

Job Requirements

1.Minimum of eight years of experience in wealth management or private banking business management.

2.Candidates with CFA or CFP qualifications, or experience in multiple roles such as investment banking or financial markets are preferred.

3.Strong market development and high-end client marketing capabilities are required.

4.Adequate written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese so as to communicate with Chinese counterparties.

5.Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare financial models and projections, including budgeting and variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze key financial indicators and performance metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
• Monitor and track financial performance against targets and KPIs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate financial strategies and initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support the financial planning and budgeting process.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or CFA qualification or equivalent.
• At least 5 – 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with developing financial models background, preferably from renewable energy/ green technology/ solar PV industry.
• With proven experience in financial modeling, M&A and investment experience.
