We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing various aspects of accounting, finance, payroll, and compliance to support our business operations. What’s the role?
Accounting Management
- Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, schedules, and financial reports.
- Handle billing and accounts receivable (AR) management, including client supplier portals.
- Oversee payments, accounts payable (AP), and vendor management.
- Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and other payment platforms.
- Prepare and submit GST reports to IRAS and address adhoc GST-related queries.
- Respond to government surveys and miscellaneous queries.
- Provide support for government grant applications and administration.
- Liaise with auditors and manage tax matters and related queries, ensuring timely closure.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting/finance matters and reporting.
Payroll Management
- Timely processing of payroll and all related statutory contribution matters.
- Review, approve, and export claims from Expensify for payroll purposes.
- Administer payroll-related payments, including standard and ad-hoc CPF payments.
- Manage submissions and claims for National Servicemen (if applicable).
- Prepare and distribute IR8A income tax forms for government submission.
- Administer government-related claims and submissions (e.g., childcare, NS leave claims).
Financial Administration and Corporate Affairs
- Oversee and manage financial administrative tasks, including coordination with HR, corporate secretarial teams, and external accounting and financial partners.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of financial and administrative processes.
- Provide robust support in corporate governance matters, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to uphold compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with corporate legal advisors to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including filings, board resolutions, and other corporate secretarial tasks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to strengthen organizational compliance and operational efficiency.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management, corporate governance, and compliance. SaaS startup experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of corporate secretarial practices and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external advisors to manage complex tasks effectively.
