Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end to end AML/KYC due diligence checks and compliance matters as required under Capital Market Service (CMS) license requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain a robust compliance framework to ensure controls are in place
• Review, revise and uplift all compliance manuals and policies and procedures, including Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA)
• Identify regulatory trends and developments that impact business areas and advise on any material impacts to current activities
• Provide regulatory/compliance advisory support to relevant business units
• Provide advice with respect to marketing requirements of funds in various jurisdictions
• Organize and conduct staff compliance trainings
• Assist with or take charge of ad-hoc projects or tasks as may be assigned from time-to-time

Requirements:

• Degree with min 6 years of relevant compliance experience within the fund management, investment management or capital market service licensed entity or regulatory consulting environment
• Good knowledge of key applicable regulations such as the Securities & Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines, AML/CFT regulations

With the increasingly dynamic and accelerating pace of consumer demand today, manufacturers have to introduce a much greater degree of flexibility into their processes to keep up. The current state of automation and robotics which enables many of these manufacturing processes, however does not allow for this versatility.

Machines from different vendors each use their own proprietary programming interfaces, are not designed to easily speak with each other, and often require complex and customised programs to integrate them together. Being a robotics manufacturer ourselves once, we have been through these challenges and we understand how frustrating it can get.

Our vendor agnostic software platform, syncOS is designed to seamlessly integrate different automation systems using a simple and intuitive no-code interface. We believe this can help make automated process much more versatile and nimble than has been possible before, and is what the industry needs.

We started as 4 undergraduates who just dreamed big but had not no clue how the world worked. Today we work with some of the largest manufacturers in the world like Ford, Caterpillar, Nestle across multiple countries. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, and a proven track record at a Big 4 accounting firm. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive financial excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preparation of financial reports, statements, and projections on a regular basis.
• Manage the consolidation of financial statements from multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
• Work with the Finance Manager to monitor and analyse financial performance metrics for better decision-making.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, and budgeting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the fundraising and due diligence processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and strategy.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations affecting the organization.
• Manage tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in finance
• Extensive experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to consolidate financial statements from multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present financial data and insights effectively
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills

Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Japan in Fabric & Home Care business unit. You will take a lead to design mid / long term Japan Fabric Care business strategy and financial glidepath by collaborating with multi-functional team. You will manage short-term financial result delivery and financial reporting by providing explanation of variances and key performance drivers and consolidation of business results to senior management. You will own initiative financial design including new product design with innovation, pricing strategy, and promotion strategy. You will provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders by identifying financial improvement opportunities.

Your team

This role reports to the Finance Vice President and works closely with Marketing / Product Supply / Sales on financial planning, design work, and analysis.

Responsibilities of the role

• Provide financial leadership to key business partners in Regional Business Unit and Market Operations, across multi-functional teams.
• Lead financial analysis of initiative design, category plans, giving business recommendations to leaders.
• Lead in monthly regional financial forecast and support actual proofing.
• Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of proven track record in managing financial forecast and budget management across a matrix organization with high level of agility.
• Business proficiency in Japanese language and past working experience in Japan market for the consumer goods industry is preferred as the role requires local consumer understanding to develop brand equity and marketing strategies for the Japan market.
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required.
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve problems.
• Financial modelling expertise a plus.
