Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department budget coordinators to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Create, maintain, and improve financial models to support long-term financial planning and forecasting.
• Analyze financial results, monitor key performance indicators, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the shareholders and board of directors.
• Handle cash flow management, ensuring the company has the necessary liquidity to meet its financial obligations and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain the company's credit facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants and regulations.

Skills / Knowledge Required

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in finance

Executive Assistant, Finance (AR)

• To provide support with claims (MediSave/Insurance/MCPS) and billing related matters and follow-up on pending claims and finalization of patient bills and processing of bill adjustments

• Prepare daily/ weekly/ monthly reports and schedules;

• Take in receipts from claims payors (MediSave/Insurance/MCPS) and prepare claims aging and weekly status

• Follow up with IT vendor and resolve claims system issues

• Liaise with clinic ops on submission errors.

• Duties relating to debt collection

• Duty for systems team, to setup service codes and charging rules

• Ensure interfaces reconcile between internal and external system.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Strategic Management

- Develop strategies and action plans for observing new/ developing trends and needs, in the

assigned areas of responsibility, initiating and developing new processes/structures to address

changing needs

2. Financial Management

4. Accounting, Statutory and Management Reporting

- Ensure accounting complies with the SFRS and grantors’ requirement

- Ensure transparent, timely and accurate financial reports are prepared and made available to both internal and external stakeholders

5. Governance

- Manage SHINE’s governance framework and processes to ensure full compliance with IPC/Charity

code of governance and other relevant regulations.

- Manage Corporate Secretariat duties and compliances

6. IT and Data security and governance

- Work closely with outsourced IT service providers to ensure IT infrastructure and security measures are in place

- Maintain oversight of data security

• Deliver Quality Assurance objectives by conducting regular call reviews and highlight any potential risk to management.
• Review 15 of closed sales calls per day for General Insurance Team.
• Backup for Auto Insurance for Call Review purposes.
• Promptly report any calls detected with potential quality issues (e.g. misrepresentation, fraudulent) to Management.
• Prepare, track and send Quality Assurance related reports to UOB management and team. (NMD, Service Quality Monthly, Penalty Points Table)
• Keep track on all the status of Quality Assurance Cases from beginning to end process and provide update to management on a timely manner.
• Weekly meeting with management to discuss on discrepancies and solutions for further improvements.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Responsibility
