We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial health of our organization. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
   Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
   Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and prepare variance analyses.
   
2. Reporting and Compliance:Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
   Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance policies.
   Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
   
3. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
   Optimize capital structure and manage banking relationships.
   
4. Operational Oversight:Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
   Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
   Lead cost control initiatives to improve profitability.
   
5. Team Leadership:Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
   Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Job Description

• Handle full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with current accounting practices.
• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including but not limited to:
• Purchasing and payables
• Cash receipts and receivables
• Intercompany balance and transaction reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registry and other asset and liabilities schedules
• Perform group consolidation to streamline financial reporting.
• Monthly review of entities’ and group's receivables, ensuring conformity to IFRS 15 and IFRS 109.
• Monthly review of entities’ and group's leases, ensuring conformity to IFRS 116.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly management reports, variance analysis, and commentaries against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Ensure timely preparation of Financial Statements, management reporting, cash flow, budget, and audited financial statements by Entity and Group.
• Check and ensure all audit schedules, payment vouchers, invoices, and credit notes are in order.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, and bankers for all financial accounting matters.
• Manage and coordinate with outsourced accountants including but not limited to Australia and Japan.
• Possess knowledge of trust structures in Australia and Japan, a significant plus.
• Handle any other adhoc requests by the Head of Finance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in using finance systems and MS Excel.

Corporate Insurance Broker (Financial Lines - Fintech, Tech & FI)

• This is a client-facing role, entry to mid-level role where you will be working closely with our other brokers to manage a portfolio of commercial clients and new leads from our referral partners
• You will primarily assist clients to advise on their insurance requirements, educate them on coverage, negotiate terms with various insurers, and assist in simple claims or any operational requests.
• Clients will mainly be Technology Related, Fintech, Blockchain, Payments and Financial Institutions in Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Your primary goal is to ensure clients assigned to you bind their insurance policies with us smoothly and that their insurance enquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Key insurance classes you will need to handle include Professional indemnity, Cyber, Crime and Director & Officers Insurance
• This is client facing role and you are expected to be the key point of contact for your clients. You should be able to advise them on their current coverage and renewal dates, how to understand renewal insurance comparisons, their regulatory and contractual insurance requirements, appropriate coverage for their nature of business, and next steps when there is a claim.
• You are expected to be able to manage insurers directly to get coverage placed including negotiating quotes with multiple insurers, doing up an accurate and detailed comparison of insurers' quotes, handling their queries for information, following up with them on any post-sales documentation and administrative processes including claims or endorsements from clients
• As a licensed MAS GI broker, you need to ensure you meet all MAS compliance requirements
• As part of our sales team, you need to ensure renewals are updated on our CRM regularly.

The key scope of supporting the implementation of the Finance Reporting Risk and Control framework through responsibilities such as:

• End-to-End Review of Regulatory Reporting Process
• Establishing Regulatory Reporting Controls by developing appropriate controls for downstream regulatory reporting processes based on risk assessments
• Collaboration with Finance & Actuarial Teams to identify, mitigate, and monitor key risks in their operations
• Providing effective governance, challenging, and reporting on key risks and controls within Finance.
• Ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of key controls by developing and executing a monitoring plan, tracking progress, reporting results, and implementing necessary action plans
