Job Summary:
The Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational activities of the company. This includes managing day-to-day financial operations, administrations and human resources management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Financial Management
· Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and reconciliations and financial reporting.
· Monitor budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
· Assist in tax filings, audits, and liaise with external accountants.
· Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
· Implement cost-saving initiatives and financial best practices.
Human Resources Management
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and new employee onboarding
· Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws.
· Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
· Drive employees’ engagement activities for talent retention and improve employees’ engagement
· Oversee payroll processing and employees’ benefits administration.
Administration
· Oversee office and global operations, including logistics, procurement of supplies and equipment.
· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
· Manage vendor and service provider relationships and negotiate contracts.
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate with various functions to support organizational goals
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and Administration. Human Resources management experience will be an advantage.
· Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
· Proficiency in Xero (accounting system) and MS Office.
· Excellent English and Chinese verbal and written communications
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work independently and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Candidate is expected to bring your own device for work and must have reliable WIFI connection at all times.
