• Prepare project costing, investment analysis, financial modelling and projections as required for approvals at Management and/or Board levels
• Liaise with auditors, government agencies, financial institutions and tax agents as and when relevant
• Oversee the completion of internal and external audits to ensure regulatory and statutory accounts are properly and duly completed in a timely manner
• Plan and execute fixed asset verification exercise as may be required
• Oversee the BU’s procurement-to-pay process, review and approve purchases and payments according to the relevant approval matrix
• Ensure timely billing and collections within the order-to-cash policies and processes.
• Conduct review on cash conversion cycle, monitor on cashflow and working capital requirement
• Assist the CFO in preparation of materials and reports for Board, Audit and other Committee Meetings
• Assist in the implementation of new ERP, mainly on financial modules
• Assist the Heads of BU on all business matters as may be directed
• Undertake any ad hoc assignments as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Technically competent with solid knowledge of local accounting standards and practices and Income Tax Act provision
• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Professional qualifications like CA or similar qualifications will be advantageous
• 8-10 years of relevant working experience with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity
• Independent and able to work under tight deadlines and resource constraints
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous, proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint etc. and accounting software
• Determine in process improvement, especially in areas where processes are manual
• Possess high integrity, and has strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, well organized and results-oriented
• Able to interact well with Senior Leaders (Management and/or Company Directors)

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Working advanced knowledge/skills of Excel formulas and functions is a must.

• Should have working experience and advance understanding of SAP system (PEMS) would be a plus

Accounting & Reporting (30%):

• Supporting the day to day general ledger accounting and reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis – Using QuickBooks (or Xero)
• Support in all monthly, quarterly and annual close activities which include analyzing accounts, journal entries (and/or amending them), performing account reconciliations, and preparing reports and financial documents
• GST-Filing: Collate all the necessary documentation and reports, ensure approval by Company Directors and submit to Head of Finance

Finance (40%):

• Organise the planning and forecasting process to build a complete picture of our P&L
• Develop dashboards and projectors using QuickBooks
• Provide support on costings for project proposals to clients
• Handle company payments as required, including creators involved in Crowdsourcing
• Invoice and accounts payable: Issue invoices to clients as per project schedule. Ensure on time payment from clients. Ensure payment on time to suppliers, as per our commitments and cash flow position
• Track time sheets of whole team to analyse/report profitability on a project by project basis

Overall Team Support (30%):

• Prepare Director’s claim on monthly basis
• Record and keep track of employees’ leave benefits
• Ensure time sheets are submitted on weekly basis
• Provide support with Expenses for the team
• Administrative support (travel, venues materials, external participants etc)
• Any other ad-hoc admin duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications, ideally with 2 or more years of experience
• Strong FP&A and controllership background

Job Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management Handle payroll matters: release (per operations/management instruction), and process final salary payments for employees.
   Address payroll-related inquiries and complaints from site officers.
   Prepare and distribute payslips for all FTE and PTE staff.
   Submit CPF contributions for eligible employees.
   Verify attendance discrepancies with timesheets and ensure accurate payments.
   
2. Final Payment Processing Process final payments for resigned staff, including filing IR21 for foreign employees and liaising with IRAS for approvals.
   
3. Accounts Maintenance Maintain and update account records, file systems, and ensure data accuracy.
   Manage banking matters, including fund credits, cash flow, and payment schedules.
   
4. Financial Reporting Prepare summaries of payments (daily, weekly, monthly) and monthly reports for management review.
   Assist in trial balance preparation, accruals, and financial statement consolidation for audits.
   
5. Vendor and Billing Management Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for quotations and purchase orders.
