Job Responsibilities

• Liaise and work closely with various stakeholders in performing cost calculation and pricing on existing and new services/ projects.
• Ensure Service master is updated and accurate for system go-live.
• Prepare, formulate, and rationalise price revision proposal to ensure organisation’s financial sustainability, while taking into consideration patient bill impact.
• Work with IT vendor to maintain efficient SharePoint workflow as part of continuous process improvement, including the identification and resolution of issues.
• Monitor and report SharePoint workflow turnaround time.
• Ensure accurate and timely update of data files for internal management reporting.
• Support annual cost refresh/ updates on services.
• Provide Business partnering support to Business Units within a growing regional healthcare system.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.

It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.

Position Overview

The role primarily manage all major technology incident that has a severe business impact to BCS customers, driving resolution and ensuring key stake holders are updated timely. He/she will run post incident review under problem management process to determine root cause, lesson learned and driving closure of corrective and preventive actions.

The Enterprise Service & Support Department ensures BCS ITIL processes are operationally relevant and optimized with sufficient controls, providing IT teams a framework to operate and deliver IT services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management:

• Drive of all major incidents to resolutions as quickly as possible
• Provide coordination across all support teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents
• Escalate all process breakdown related cases causing either a delay in resolution or an actual Service Level Agreement (SLA) breach
• Participate in regular incident meetings to review open incidents and drive timely closure
• Prepare periodic service reports for stakeholders
• Perform analysis to identify incident trends
• Review incidents to ensure that they documented correctly as the per the Incident Management process
• Track and report all Incident Management related KPIs
• Perform post incident review for major incidents to capture lessons learned and ensure closure of improvement plans.

Problem Management:

• Run RCA meetings to identify root cause, lesson learnt, and preventive actions.
• Track follow up actions ensuring timely closure of problem tickets.
• Perform analysis to identify and register problem tickets
• Gatekeeper of all known errors
• Track and report all Problem Management related KPIs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in incident and problem management in a large organisation
• Good understanding of digital payments landscape is a plus
• Good functional and technical understanding of technology infrastructure components
• Strong communication skills and able to articulate complex matters in concise manner
• Good inter-personal skills with the ability to manage customers we
• Strong analytical skills and able to deal with complex technical and process subject matters
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environments utilizing different tools.
• Experience executing on processes in scope of ITIL framework.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Possess ITIL certification

The ITSM team ensures BCS ITIL processes are operationally relevant and optimised with sufficient controls, providing Technology Teams with a framework to operate and deliver IT services to our customers.

The Technology Problem Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating underlying causes of Major Incidents and recurring IT incidents or issues. The role ensures long-term stability of the IT environment by preventing incidents from recurring, improving system performance, and minimizing disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

Problem Management:

• Proactively identify potential problems by analyzing incident trends and service data.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for recurring and major incidents to prevent future occurrences.
• Document the outcome of RCA meetings, ensuring investigations covers all contributing factors, and possibility of systemic issues.
• Document all root cause analyses, action plans, and resolutions in a way that can be easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
• Share findings and updates on issues with relevant stakeholders to improve service reliability.
• Maintain and improve the problem management process, ensuring it aligns with ITIL best practices.
• Maintain and manage a Known Error Database (KEDB), ensuring all known errors are accurately documented and accessible to relevant teams.
• Track and monitor known errors to ensure they are being addressed in a timely manner, minimizing their impact on operations.
• Work with incident and change management teams to update or retire known errors as fixes are applied.
• Ensure that known errors and workarounds are shared with relevant teams to enhance incident resolution efficiency.
• Identify risks that could cause potential disruptions and work to mitigate them through proactive problem management.
• Track and report all problem management related KPIs in a timely manner

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience managing problem investigations in a complex technological environment supporting real time transactions
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification required, higher ITIL certifications preferred
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Cisco) are a plus
• Strong communication and writing skills and able to articulate complex matters in concise manner
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, databases, networking) and their interdependencies
• Proven record in driving complex root cause analysis and incident resolution in multi-vendor and multi-platform environments
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. ELK or SolarWinds)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and effectively perform root cause analysis
