PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Market Risk Management

1) Daily RRR monitoring

2) Daily P&L commentary and market risk limit monitoring

3) Monthly market risk meeting and presentation

4) UAT testing for new products

5) Amended deal check

6) Annual limit review and application for trading book

7) Traders support in term of queries, portfolios application, system configuration, product program, trade handling etc.

Counterparty Risk Management

1) Daily PSR monitoring

2) Daily Sales spread monitoring

3) Daily BTB transaction monitoring

4) Support front line query on PSR related issues

5) LTV computation on structured note(SN) for PB business

6) Support front line query pertaining to SN LTV

Asset and liability Management

1) Daily monitoring of usage and limit pertaining to banking book and AFS (NII, EVE, MCO)

2) Daily monitoring of deposit change ratio

3) Intra-day monitoring on MCO and various regulatory ratios

4) Monthly review of MCO estimate versus actual

5) Monthly ALCO presentation

6) Annual stress test on banking book for SG office

7) Annual review of local liquidity risk management procedure guideline

8) Annual limit review and application for banking book

9) Traders support in term of queries, portfolios application, system configuration, product program, trade handling etc.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline.

• Over 7 years working experience in market risk management, counterparty risk management, or asset and liability management.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSETS

• Good knowledge of the financial products (eg. FX, Interest Rates, Bonds and Derivatives) and the market practice thereof
• Good understanding of risk identification, measurement, monitoring and reporting
• Basic understanding of pricing models for financial products
• Analytical with excellent communicator and negotiator
• Team player
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and with VBA is a plus
• Proficient in handling Mandarin speaking stakeholders and clients in North Asia
• FRM is a plus

• Contact delinquent customers for payment and containing flow of delinquent accounts.

• Negotiate payment schedules that will ensure maximum recovery and minimum risk exposure to the Bank.
• Escalate irregular cases promptly to team leader for advice and direction.

Requirements:

• 6 months contract, with extension option by Bank.
• Minimum diploma holder with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge / experience in customer service, telemarketing and call centre will be added advantage.

Job Description

Business Insights/Decision Support/Communication

- Manage end-to-end supply chain accounting flow across (client's) trading entities, this includes responsive exception management

to ensure reporting accuracy and control compliance

- Partner with Global and/or Country Controlling and cross-functional teams including Tax, Customs, Supply Chain Operation teams

to stand up new/changes in processes in support of product flow flexibility

- Partner with Supply Chain Operations and/or Capability Teams in ensuring system data integrity for new/change process resolution to uphold control rigors.

- Responsible for SAP system validation on operations accounting related activities in support of business initiatives.

- Define relevant test scenarios and validate results within the set timeline. Provide inputs for informed decision on user acceptance.

Business Process Excellence

- Drive end-to-end process simplification and improvements, leveraging on automation covering Intercompany and Inventory activities and reporting

- Responsible for building/maintaining relevant desk-top procedures in accordance with the established controls and policies

Work Experience

- At least 8 years of relevant accounting experiences, in large MNCs with Supply Chain Operations Accounting covering Inventory and Intercompany processes,controls and legal entity reporting

- Bachelor degree in Accountancy, preferably with a Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.

- Good Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and SOX is necessary.

- Hands-on experiences with SAP

- Demonstrate good communication and influencing skills on complex accounting requirements.

- Ability to translate business requirements into operationalization with considerations for financial risks and controls across end-to-end processest

- Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with multi-cultural business partners and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and move forward with aligned priorities

- Good documentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and Visio.

- Experience with enabling tool solutions eg Blackline, Alteryx would be an added advantage

Working location: Ang Mo Kio

• Handling customers' enquiries as well as performing cashiering duties.
• Prepare Statement of Accounts (SOA) upon customers' request and etc.
• Perform Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable function and also finance reconciliation.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Possesses a minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' Levels qualification with 1 year of relevant finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the identification, reporting and escalation of emerging operational risk through the execution of Group’s operational risk management framework tools.
• Effective management of operational risk issues, including timely reporting, root cause analysis, recommendation of corrective and preventive actions and tracking them to closure

• Promote risk awareness and compliance with Group’s policies, standards and guidelines by conducting periodic operational risk trainings and workshops.
• Liaison party with other control functions such as Group Risk/Compliance/Finance for advisory matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or Banking and Finance will be preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in Banking Operations, with knowledge of Reconciliation, Projects Management and Operational Risk/Controls within Financial Services
• Familiarity with Consumer Banking Operations and/or Wealth Operations will be an added advantage
