This role supports the finance team in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and plays a critical part in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Issue sales invoices, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with relevant requirements.
• Process customer payments and ensure accurate application to customer accounts.
• Prepare reconciliation between CRM and ERP systems during the month-end to ensure the accuracy of billings.
• Collaborate with the accounts payable colleague in a buddy system to ensure smooth operations in both accounts payable and receivable functions.

Qualifications

The Finance Executive plays a vital role in managing and overseeing all financial transactions and operations within the hotel. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial data, maintaining records, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable or accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections according to hotel policies.
• Reconcile supplier invoices and customer payments, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain records of financial transactions and vendor relationships to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance and Accountancy
• At least 2 years if working experience
• Good communication and written skill
• Independent and able to provide sound judgement

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable information
• Ensure all accounts payable entries are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Ensure all invoices are validated against supporting documents
• Identify unprocessed invoices for accrual and Capex invoices for capitalization
• Verify and investigate discrepancies in invoices with relevant staff and resolve with suppliers.

• Assist in month end closing activities
• Assist in handling accounts payable related queries from external and internal stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy
• At least 1 - 2 years of prior work experience in accounts payable preferred
• Able to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Detail oriented and able to work independently
• Well-organised and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Knowledge in ERP system, e.g. Oracle NetSuite accounting software will be advantageous

Roles And Responsibilities

- Involve in AP/AR/GL activities and responsible for timely closing of monthly accounts, and yearly closing.

- Prepare/assist monthly cash flow report, management report, and supporting schedules timely, project budget review, variance analysis, cash flow forecast report, and any ad-hoc report.

- Assist with retrieving key information or number consolidation work.

- Prepare budgets for Headquarter Expenses and handle necessary forecast.

- Handling of GST Filing, and Corporate Tax.

- Liaise with auditors, government agencies, financial institutions, and tax agents.

- Review Claims to make sure claims are in line with HR policy.

- Assist to liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure necessary changes are communicated to improve the internal controls.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.

- Other Ad-hoc task as assigned by your superior and administrative support and any ad-hoc requirement to the team, management, and related superior.

Requirements and Information
