Donation Processing and Review

• Peruse the bank statements and identify donations received for recording in Donation Management System (DMS). To liase with the relevant parties to obtain necessary information for recording purpose (e.g. through fundraising department or liase with donors).

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible to update customers on shipment status and addressing customers’ enquiries on shipment movement and arrangement;
• Liaise with customers to obtain necessary information for shipping documentation generation;
• Enter shipment data in freight management software system;
• To coordinate closely with other vendors/shipping lines/overseas forwarding agents to ensure smooth arrival and delivery of customers’ shipments
• To provide necessary support to the Freight Logistics Department to assist in addressing customers’ enquiries and preparing quotations (where necessary);

Main Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide administrative and planning support to ensure the smooth operations of the departments. This includes the correspondence, course enrolment, orientation, course enquiries and documentation.

2. Support and work closely with Head of Departments and teaching faculty to ensure smooth operation of classes such as timetabling, booking of facilities, preparation of teaching materials, etc.

3. Administer, monitor and the tracking of budget and expenditures for the departments.

4. Coordinate publicity and marketing materials for courses and events/production/concerts.

Career Description:

Independently handle a portfolio of Singapore private limited companies' clients for routine bookkeeping, payroll processing, GST, Corporate Tax and XBRL filing and meet ACRA and IRAS filing deadlines.
Assist clients in preparing their monthly, quarterly, or annual management accounts.
Responsible for preparing Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) for the clients following Singapore FRS (Financial Reporting Standards).
Assist clients with the preparation of quarterly GST returns, annual tax computations, and Form C or Form C-S and Appendices for submission to the IRAS.
Liaise with and advise clients on on-going company's bookkeeping, payroll related, ACRA and IRAS related matters.
Assist the Managers to guide and/or review Executives’ work in handling day to day business outsourcing services.
Support the Managers in the transition of the accounting, GST, Corporate Tax transfer records from the take-over business and on boarding of new clients.
Assist the Managers to implement new software, improve SOP, workflows and processes and ensure the team comply with relevant statutory acts and filing deadlines.
Work as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support and maintaining communication with colleagues on an effective and efficient basis
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients; and
Liaise with external parties and service providers of our clients, where necessary.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification under ACCA, SCAQ and ICAEW schemes
Minimum 2-3 years accounting/audit work experience in a public accounting firm
Conversant and understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Company Act
Proactive, committed and a team player
Technology savvy, excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication and analytical skills.
Possess initiative and ability to work independently
