This person will be working at the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics on the CENTRES (Clinical Ethics Network + Research Ethics Support) project. The main purpose of the job is for the person to provide effective administrative support to enable the CENTRES team to carry out its educational programmes and build its networks. A sliver of the administrative work will be department related.

The position is for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal if performance is satisfactory.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinates and manages the administration of our various programmatic activities. The detailed tasks include (not an exhaustive list): - engaging effectively and sensitively with partners and stakeholders
   - managing our learning management system and ensuring participant satisfaction
   - proactively ensuring website content is updated
   - managing activity registration
   - providing onsite and/or online administrative support for our in-person, online and hybrid activities
2. Maintains comprehensive and updated records of our programmatic activities including partner and participant details, teacher information, and feedback reports, and organizes it in a user-friendly and effective manner for stakeholders.
3. Coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of training programme data and drafts statistical and narrative reports that are user-friendly and effective for stakeholders.
4. Responsible for comprehensive and accurate quarterly financial and administrative reports right up to submission to the CENTRES Co-Director: - Maintains accurate bookkeeping and records of financial accounts on a monthly basis, and assists with financial reconciliation.
   - Processes expenditures, invoices and other financial transactions on a rolling basis.
   - Understands the terms of the grant and alerts the CENTRES Co-Director if proposed expenditures are not concordant with those terms.
   
5. Drafts and updates standard operating procedures to enable the smooth conduct of our programmes and the efficient management of our financial accounts.
6. Creates the materials to promote programmatic activities in various media such as print and online.
7. Ensures that our processes comply with NUS & MOH guidelines.
8. Perform other related duties incidental to this job description.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in any discipline, with at least 3 years working experience.
• Candidates with no experience, or those with less than 3 years working experience, who are analytical thinkers, fast learners, detailed-oriented, and focused may be considered.
• Experience in budgeting and grant management principles preferred.
• Project management experience a plus.

This role contributes to the growth of the Continuing Education and Enrichment (CEE) Department, Education Division, by ensuring smooth administrative and logistical operations while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.

The Programmes Executive will manage a minimum of two programmes and a team of freelance instructors.

Responsibilites

• To manage a minimum of two programmes from publicity, Enrolment, providing updates to parents to Closing Reports.
• To train and manage a team of freelance instructors and the deployment for classes
• To assess curriculum with age-appropriate activities and record children’s progress and improving the delivery of the curriculum
• To work with Centre Principals and centre staff to ensure smooth Enrolment and programme operations
• To take charge of his/her own admin and logistics relating to his/her managed programmes.

Job Description:

1. Support of the sales team in organizing and attending sales events

• Update of contacts & Customer relationship activity in Salesforce (a CRM system)
• Follow-up on clients inquiry (before sales and after sales)
• Preparing quotation/agreement and contract management
• Assist the BDM to maintain client relationship with existing clients by regular follow-up visits, Query & issue gathering
• Follow up with Clients on a regular basis for SOA, pending payments
• Support sales account manager to develop new customer base by tender participation, cold calls & Introductory e-mails, etc
• Support sales team for weekly report/monthly report or clients analysis

2. Follow up activity with Client for Projects

• Follow up activity with Client for Project Updates & liaison with Operations team
• Co-ordinating with sub-contractors for tendering and pricing negotiations
• Arrange DHL or partner for Samples collection, follow-up on samples testing, reporting if necessary
• Take action for ON-HOLD samples
• Arrange sampling kit/product delivery
• Submit the invoicing application to account when the project is completed
• Operation for MEIMS (Lab testing software) and SAP (sales module only)

3. Liaison with Marketing for Realizing the companies digital marketing strategy (e.g. Brochures, Marketing tools, Presentation content, conferences)

4. Admin works and support sales team for some documents filling, reporting, presentation, etc

Job Qualifications

1. Junior college or above
2. Major - Marine engineering, Shipping engineering/officer, Lab testing, chemistry / biological science
3. Be proficient in office software; be practical and careful in work; with strong communication skills
4. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar role
5. Have experience in Maritime industry as priority
6. Have business-related knowledge background and understand business processes
7. Have team work spirit
8. Have good communication and presentation skills; be able to communicate with clients, including Sales team and overseas clients

The Role

This position will be supporting the Treasury team for the assigned portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for a broad range of treasury functions which includes cash management; bank loan management including rollovers, drawdown and compliance, as well as preparing treasury cash / loans reports and reconciliation.
• In charge of opening and maintenance of bank accounts, internet banking and other ad-hoc projects.
• Other Treasury responsibilities:
• timely and accurate settlement of day-to-day treasury transactions (for both internal and external counterparties) for Cash, Loan and Forex Verticals
• preparation of periodic management reports
• update Treasury SOP compliance and annual external audit
• verifying and processing of Treasury related payments
• ensure completeness in records maintained in Treasury Management System a contract role) to experience how its like working in tech industry.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy / Corporate Finance / Economics or its equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in treasury.
