Responsibilities

· Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements and management reports

· Monitor accounts transactions, checking, verification and follow up.

· Handle data entry for all account transaction including Account Receivable (AR), Account Payable (AP) & General Ledger (GL).

· Handle staff claims, petty cash, payment vouchers.

· Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems for account.

· Handle Intergroup transactions, reconciliation, and confirmation.

· Liaise with intergroup companies, banks, auditors, and tax agent for finance-related matters.

· Assist in financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and presenting findings.

· Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

· Perform any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post and/or as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

· Polytechnic Diploma / LCCI Diploma in Accounting or equivalent in related field required.

· 6 months (24 weeks) contract, may renew or convert (depending on performance/business needs)

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented.

· Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills.

· Able to communicate in Chinese & English (both written and verbal).

Foreign Worker Administration

• Apply, renew, and cancel work pass for foreign workers and update changes. in personal particulars and address of foreign workers via MOM.
• Update work permit renewal/expiry in the HR system.
• Monitoring movement of passport of foreign worker.
• Purchasing of air tickets when repatriating foreign workers.
• Update the movement of foreign workers list for the various sites.
• Update the changes in foreign worker accommodation in the system and relevant shared folder timely and ensure accuracies.

Recruitment

• Advertise vacancies on all major job posting sites, and on social media platforms, working with government and recruitment agencies.
• Assist HR Director for recruitments, collaborate with Operations. Managers/Directors and other stakeholders in developing temporary staffing strategies to cover extended absences or extended openings of key positions.
• Review applications to shortlist candidates.
• Conduct initial interview for the shortlist candidates.
• Forward resumes of suitable candidates to the hiring managers for their consideration.
• Arrange interview appointment between the chosen candidate and the hiring managers.
• Conduct reference and background checks if necessary.
• Prepare necessary papers for the hiring process.
• Support recruitments for HR and Operations teams with recruitment. administrative, organizational and logistical tasks.
• Serving as the logistical point of contact for both internal and external candidates at the written offer stage, including interacting directly with the candidates and ensuring signed paperwork is received in a timely manner.
• Managing various aspects of the candidate experience post offer acceptance, including ensuring accurate start dates and compliance of onboarding paperwork.
• Coordinating with the HR team to ensure correct procedures followed at all times and operational risks are minimized.
• Establish positive relationships within the various stakeholders and candidates to assist with the seamless recruiting process.
• Engage with HR team to recommend process improvements as needed
• Maintain accurate record keeping and consistent storage of new hire candidate records.
• Effective and efficient management of day-to-day queries and raising of issues.
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Conduct new employees’ orientation, exit interviews, referral programs.
• Updating of handbooks, orientations programs and documents templates when required.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Palm Resort, targeting key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, to achieve revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis of hospitality industry in Johor Bahru
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
• Work closely with residential marketing agencies and JV partner to establish the selling price of each room types leading to the launch of the residential project

2. Marketing Strategy

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract potential customers
• Utilise digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content creation, to promote Palm Resort in Johor Bahru, as well as the Pine Grove residential project along Ulu Pandan
• Collaborate with the marketing team of JV partner to create compelling promotional materials and content for Pine Grove residential project
• Involved in the preparation and development of the show gallery for the Pine Grove residential project
• Work closely with residential marketing agencies and JV partner to develop sound marketing plan leading to the launch of the residential project

3. Market Research and Insights

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
• Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience for Palm Resort
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives for Palm Resort
• Work closely with JV partners on the sales and marketing efforts for the Pine Grove residential project

5. Reporting and Analytics

• Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Analyse key metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
• Analyse consumer preferences and demographic data to tailor marketing strategies for non-landed residential project accordingly

Job Requirements
