Since October 2011,Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC)was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for theelderly and the sick,families,persons with disabilities, andchildren. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme and Residents management

• Part of a multi-disciplinary team to support activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
• Introduce, implement rehabilitative therapies and/or programmes. Review and evaluate therapies and programmes to see if they are relevant to residents.
• Facilitate, coordinate and plan in-house programmes for residents. Monitor residents involvement for in-house activities and update individual residents care plan (ICP) report to respective case or social workers/managers
• Work closely with the Programme team to ensure programmes rostered to do are delivered
• Plan, develop program materials, design and implement group activities
• Work with key workers to implement strategies for behaviour management
• Responsible for progress monitoring of achievement of residents care plan goals

Community Partnership and Volunteer Management

• Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other social service agencies, community stakeholders, corporate partners and, government agencies where necessary for effective programme and volunteer management
• Work with volunteers to deliver volunteer led programmes
• Responsible for maintaining the volunteer database

• Preferably Diploma in related field
• Those without diploma will be considered based on working experience
• Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Formulate and optimise the Company’s treasury policy, maintain the rationality, applicability, effectiveness and execution of the policy, promote the implementation of treasury policy to achieve institutionalisation, streamlining and standardisation;
• Responsible for raising funds for the company's trade business, investment business and daily operations, ensuring reasonably the supply of funds, reducing fund costs and improving cash efficiency;
• Deploy the complementary functions of two cash pools, responsible for the operation and management of the two cash pools, realising the centralised management of funds of the Company and its subsidiary company, supervising and managing the cash operation;
• Responsible for the management of the bank accounts of the Company and its subsidiary company , including the approval and supervision of the opening, modification, cancellation and use of bank accounts to ensure the safety of funds;
• Responsible for managing bank facility line to support company's trading business， strive to expand the credit line and relax credit utilised conditions to support the operation of the business;
• Maintain bank relationships, including bank annual review, facility letter negotiation, update the latest granted facility line and utilisation condition;
• Handle L/C documentation and negotiation for oil products trading. Submit documents as required in LC , e.g. to issue invoice, letter of indemnity, bill of exchange & drafts;
• Responsible for managing FX business, including reviewing related bank FX agreements;
• Review cash planning and forecasting with a view to using the most optimal source of funds to meet the business needs while maintaining adequate cash reserve at all times;
• Oversee and guidance to subsidiaries on working capital requirements as well as business expansion and financial matters;
• Responsible for centralised management of external credit rating, internal and external bank facilities and financing guarantee of the company and its subsidiaries;
• Responsible for organising and executing the company's share repurchase;
• Monitor margin in the derivatives clearing account on a daily basis, including timely margin call and withdrawal, to ensure that there is sufficient balance to support the hedging business;
• Promptly reconcile P&L between SAP and ETRM system (CXL) for oil product trading books monthly;
• Assist in financial month end closing;
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Finance/ CFO.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor in Finance/ Accounting/ related field or equivalent, preferably qualified ACCA/ ISCA ;
2. Min. 5 years relevant working experience in financial accounting, management and control, cash management preferably in commodities trading companies;
3. Familiar with cash pooling operation and management;
4. Familiar with banking facility and accounts managements;
5. Knowledge of commodity financing procedure and management is preferred;
6. Hands-on and execution-focused attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
7. Willing to work in a challenging, fast paced environment and to adapt to situations as they arise;
8. Excellent people skills and communication skills;
9. Strong attention to details and effective analytical skills with ability to understand complex information and apply logical reasoning and assessment;

We are currently seeking a Finance & Admin Executive to join our team. This role involves the management of our membership CRM database with a focus on data analysis. The successful candidates will work closely with our Finance Director to ensure the accuracy of our clinic revenue tracking systems and customer prepayment accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the membership CRM database using a sophisticated database system
• Analyze data to derive meaningful insights for business improvement
• Assist Finance Director in tracking company, team and employee KPIs
• Compute and analyze manpower statistics and payroll costs (both fixed and variable components)
• Perform policy-compliance audits
• Submit monthly analytical reports to senior management for insights
• Generate daily progress update and submit weekly audit reports of non-compliant or irregular incidents, personnel involved and the monetary amount impact for HQ to adjust the Monthly Performance Bonus (MPB) of the personnel involved
• To liaise and coordinate with HQ in Singapore on SOP audit & compliance
• Uphold compliance standards in all financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable processes with precision, ensuring accuracy in verification and payment processing
• Manage office operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to organizational policies

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Good in planning and organizing work flow, with strong in numeracy, analytical and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy working in fast-paced and dynamic environment independently
• Diligent in checking work to ensure no errors before submitting to superiors for review
• A multi-tasker and learner with self-motivation and sensitive with figures

The Hollandse Club is looking for an experienced Finance Manager, preferably with a proven track record in a hospitality or club management environment. This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance matters including financial reporting, statutory reporting and management reporting, supporting the business in budgeting / forecasting as well as liaising with external authorities (including tax agents, auditors and business partners). The Finance Manager will be leading the Finance Team and reports directly to the General Manager (GM).

The Club is currently unable to support any work passes, therefore this position is only open to local residents who do not require one.

The Finance Manager:

Accountancy & Audit

• Analyzes costing, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance compared to the strategy.
• Is responsible for financial statements, audit support, cash flow for the Club.
• Is responsible for coordinating internal closures of monthly/ quarterly book closure process, P&L & BS trend/ variance analysis, account, and bank reconciliations etc.
• Is responsible for ensuring good financial discipline across the Club – contracts implemented, purchase orders received, works completed prior to payment made.
• Is responsible for ensuring optimal cash flow into the Club – through the implementation of GIROs and the management of Club’s debt.
• Manages the preparation of the Club’s budget and forecast.
• Is responsible for overall exposure of GST, secretarial compliances, and other taxation regime in Singapore.
• Is responsible and closely liaises with external auditors to ensure timely closures of annual, statutory and review audits.

Management Reporting

• Manages, analyses, reports, and presents the financial Club dashboard.
• Initiates, monitors, and implements progress of agreed actionable items and corrective actions identified.
• Is responsible for financial operating system (ASPEN).
• Ensures financial operating system controls are in place.
• Ensures a system of optimal Corporate Governance.
• Ensure good working practices and back office information management.
• Is responsible for the Club’s risk management plan.

Thought Leadership

• Is responsible for the Finance Department’s expectation and efficiency.
• Ensures clear documentation of SOP’s across the department.
• Provides strategies to maintain the Club’s financial health.
• Advises on investment activities and cash management to optimise growth.
• Presents financial reports to the Finance Committee and Main Committee
• Is highly visible to both members and staff, and listens to their input, praise, and criticism.
• Assists in designing and execution of MC-initiatives and programs.
• Collaborates with all departments and members to reach Club objectives and actively shares and drives the Club’s culture, vision, and values across the department and throughout the Club.

People Management & Development

• Is responsible for Finance Team’s performance.
• Enables competency development and capability building for the Finance Team and the individual employees within the team. Sets objectives for team members and performs the monitoring of these.

Requirements

● Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CA).

● Min 8+ years of post-qualification industry experience.

● Preferably experience in a hospitality or club management environment.

● Strong knowledge in financial accounting and reporting

● An analytical mind with commercial and business acumen

● Meticulous and desire to probe further into data

● Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

● Superb interpersonal and communication skills.

● Good negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

● Strong leadership and people management skills

● Ability to stick to time constraints

● Work experience in an international environment will be an added advantage.

● Adaptable and positive hands-on attitude
