JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will work together with the Singapore Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the Singapore business by managing the day-to-day finance operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial planning needs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    
•    Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially-focused Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Planning for Singapore, in line with agreed templates and timetables 
•    Identify and timely report risks and opportunities for the business by monitoring Sales Pacing and cost spending closely
•    Update commentary highlights concisely, anticipating and addressing potential questions in advance with supporting analysis as appropriate
•    Provide Business Partner support to event team
•    Monthly P&L actual review and working with SSC for month end. This will include:
-    Ensure revenue and costs are recorded correctly, and intercompany billings are performed
-    Compliance in accordance to Group guidelines and timely release of accruals, if any.
•    Build necessary financial / management reports from appropriate systems for review and analysis purpose
•    Intercompany review for Singapore incl. agreements, invoicing, resolving mismatches and cash settlements
•    Liaise with auditors for Government Grants audit
•    Manage and review GST submission, Corporate Secretarial related matters and completion of Government Surveys for the Company
•    Handle audit, tax and financial statements related matters
•    Ad hoc queries / requests from stakeholders (Group/Division, Management, Business Partners etc)

Job Description

Operations

· Assist in drafting/maintaining Company's accounting policy.

· Responsible for daily transaction posting (AR/AP/Others) & all finance operation matters. Ensure accuracy posting.

· Responsible to maintain monthly accounting schedules (Current assets & Current Liabilities). Ensure the accuracy of the schedules.

· Drive corrective actions with Buyer and Planner on issues pertaining to the GRIR (PO/Invoice matching) reconciliation process.

· Responsible Account payables management and ensure the AP days is within the KPIs.

· Responsible Account receivables management and ensure the AR days is within the KPIs.

· Responsible Inventory management and ensure the Inventory days is within the KPIs.

· Responsible and ensure accuracy on transactions posting including monthly bank reconciliation.

· Maintain monthly schedules.

· CAPEX Management including maintaining WBS & asset tagging.

· Participate and assist in year-end stock take exercise.

Reporting

· Responsible to ensure transactions posted in the month (including revenue recognition and expenses anticipated & for HFM reporting uploading).

· Responsible to ensure all departments close the month end on time.

Budgeting

· Assist in yearly budget exercise when required.

Financial Analysis

· Preparation of KPIs template during month-end.

· Perform cost analysis during transaction posting, highlight cost which is high than normality.

Group Compliance

· Ensure transactions are in compliance within company's accounting policy.

· Consult with Group on policy changes and communicate/interpret changes to plant management.

· Audit

· Coordinate and support audit requirements (external and internal audits).

· Ensure SOX compliance and maintain internal controls template.

Tax

· Responsible in preparing quarterly GST and submission.

Audit

· Assist in any ad-hoc tasks relating to finance.

Job Requirements

- Diploma in Commerce / Accounting & Finance

- At least 5 years of experience in Finance operations

- Familiar with accounting & finance operational process

- In-depth experience in using SAP (FI-CO, MM, SD), exposure to PP is vital.

- High level skills in MS office (Excel, Powerpoint)

- Good command of English (spoken & written)
