Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Finance Operations Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for stock-related tasks, i.e, Stock adjustment, item creation, Costing, stocktake, and miscellaneous analysis.
• Preparation of GST quarterly returns and posting of GST-related entries.
• Handle staff claims and audit support.
• Handle daily cash reconciliation and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing, i.e. Accrual journal, prepare balance sheet schedules.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance project in automation of the task.
• Assist in other finance work-related tasks and cover other colleagues when necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Accounting or any equivalent qualifications
• Prior experience as a finance executive or similar roles preferably in Food manufacturing/FMCG/F&B industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlooks, Words, Excel & Navision
• Possess a willing-to-learn and proactive attitude

Job Description

• Support internal accounting work including preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Coordinate and liaise with external service providers, including advisors, tax agents, corporate secretaries and auditors.
• Update weekly cash flows, and assist with quarterly GST filings, financial budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Maintain financial records and databases including fixed asset register, intercompany transactions.
• Responsible for bank account management and bank account opening and assisting with AML/KYC checks.
• Support and assist with tax filings and payments, compliance reporting and statutory filings.
• Support the processing of payments and claims.
• Take on ad-hoc duties when necessary

Specific Requirements

Responsibilities

Liaise with banks on issues relating to cash management, credit facilitiesopening and closing of bank accounts.

Monitoring and managing bank relationships and liquidity, Co-ordinate andliaising with bank on the company's trade facilities.Manage company bank credit line, execute trade finance related process suchas LC issuance and negotiation.

Manage company bank and broker accounts in SG, including managing dailycapital liquidity risk and execution in financing & treasury process andutilization bank facilities to support trading.

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Banking/Commerce/Maritime Studies or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance or related works.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.Meticulous, coupled with sense of urgency and responsibility.Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts for jobpurpose.

• Process Expense Sheets and ensure that they are submitted and approved to finance timely
• Put up expense sheets for monthly payroll disbursement
• Perform quarterly AP SOA reconciliations
• Follow up outstanding AP invoice matter
• Posting of vendors’ invoices into the correct general ledger
• Prepare monthly Budget Vs Actual expenditure report
• Prepare propose list of vendors’ payment

• Assist in replying enquires from vendors and internal service lines on payment matters

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimally completed GCE ‘O’ Level Education
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for the above duties and responsibilities stated, especially on processing of AP invoices and replying enquires from vendors on payment
• Must be meticulous and organized individual with a positive working attitude
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance
• Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Team player with the ability to perform in fast paced environment
• Ability to confidently articulate business matters to non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, including Excel and Outlook
• Good knowledge of using Xero and TaBs software is an advantage

Responsibilities

You will be part of the team which handles research grant-related financial matters for the Institute. Your responsibilities will include:

· Administer research grants and projects.

· Payment processing of vendors’ invoices to ensure purchases are in accordance with rules and regulations of funding agencies.

· Payment processing of transport and general staff claims.

· Responding timely to enquiries pertaining to research grant financial matters.

· Assisting in the design, implementation and review of financial processes, policies and guidelines for continuous improvements, through streamlining and automation.

Requirements

· A Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.

· 2 or 3 years of working experience in accounting.

· Organized and meticulous in handling numbers and data.
