Job Title: Accounts Executive

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of accounting functions for our organization.

Responsibilities:

· Manage Full Set Accounts, including handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

· Compile monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.

· Produce accurate and error-free accounting reports for management review.

· Provide regular analysis and monthly reporting for effective business decision support.

· Manage the filing process for Corporate Tax and Financial Statements.

Job Description – Finance Manager

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will

· Responsible for the finance function and financial books of the subsidiaries assigned

· Provide effective management, supervision and approvals, ensuring financial and tax accounting, financial services, closing and reporting activities are performed in an accurate, timely, and compliant manner.

· Prepare and present periodic financial statements, budgets and financial reports to the management team and key stakeholders

· Review of the related companies accounts, reporting, intercompany transactions and payments

· Manage working capital, funding and treasury matters to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs

· Conduct regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and strengthen internal controls.

· Responsible for the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

· Oversee the annual external audit cycle of the Group and ensure that all statutory requirements are timely met

· Manage the payroll and incentive functions of the company, including computing or checking of internal and contract staff payroll and incentives, all CPF and IR8A related matters and submissions;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with Professional Accreditation (CA/CPA)
• Min 8 years of experience, with a good mix of commercial accounting, audit experience from CPA firms and at least 2 years in a manager role
• Good technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, transfer pricing and statutory requirements
• Experienced and with a track record of successful process transformation implementation.
• Experienced in ERP YonYou advantageous
• Independent, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment
• Mandarin proficiency is necessary for effective communication with counterparts in regions such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.

• Send, receive, and confirm pre-alerts to all relevant parties
• Coordinate air cargo bookings with shippers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents
• Organize cargo pick-up arrangements with transport providers as needed
• Arrange shipments, including permit declarations, for air imports
• Provide guidance and assistance in air cargo operations at the terminal when necessary
• Respond promptly and accurately to all incoming emails
• Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders to facilitate efficient shipment execution

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
• Good working experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
• DG Certification would be an added advantage
