Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management
Oversee and manage the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
2.Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
3.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (GST, corporate tax, etc.) and statutory reporting requirements.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting
Develop and monitor budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Provide financial projections and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
5. Tender and Project Financial Support
Collaborate with the project management team to prepare financial documentation for tender submissions. Track project budgets, profitability, and financial performance.
4. Internal Controls and Compliance
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure smooth financial operations.
5. Business Strategy and Support
Work closely with management to align financial strategies with business goals.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making in operational and strategic planning.
Requirements:
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience but without formal qualifications will also be considered.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of working experience in finance or accounting. Prior experience in SMEs, construction, or ACMV-related industries is a bonus.
Basic understanding of Singapore’s financial and tax regulations (e.g., GST, corporate tax).
Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Xero, MYOB and Ms office product or 365.
Excellent in Excel is a bonus with a minimum intermediate level of proficiency
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities
