Our client, is a healthcare institution which is currently seeking a candidate to join them as a Finance Assistant (1 Year convertible).

Job Responsibilities:

• Post and take accurate collections and receipts
• Review reports and ensure that it is properly accounted for
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and schedules
• Handle patient phone calls and emails
• Prepare aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments (patient related)
• Provide support with billing related matters, and follow up on any billing related matters
• Handle daily clinic cash collection (backup) and support rotational duty for banking

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, with experience in Microsoft Office
• Prior experience in similar industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares full set of accounts for monthly, quarterly and year end reporting
• Provides monthly management accounts to present to senior management
• Formulates statutory year-end financial statements
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Liaises with Procurement and Operations sections on finance related matters
• Handles any ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent. CPA will be an added advantage
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Finance experience in handling full set of accounts
• Knowledge in SAP and Cognos Controller preferred
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, local reporting requirements, GST and corporate tax reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Appetite for fast paced and challenging work, able to manage work with short turnaround time

Requirements

1. Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA

2. 1 years’ experience in related AR / AP / GL Accounting functions will be advantage

3. Fresh Diploma or Degree Graduates may apply

6. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Scope

• Prepare monthly closing journal
• Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
• Review of sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliation
• Review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatment
• Review debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliation
• Prepare commissions for payroll submission
• Prepare payroll journals
• Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
• Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
• Budget and forecasts - Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience
• Proficient in MS Excel
