The Role

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals in Singapore, ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of daily accounting operations. You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, tax, and GST regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates, budgets, and annual reports, managing year-end audits, overseeing cash flow, and maintaining robust internal controls. Additionally, you will act as a liaise with local external auditors to ensure alignment and compliance.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with CPA or ACCA certifications being an advantage. Prior experience in an auditing firm is a must with commercial experience in financial management with solid analytical skills, thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and coupled with people leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP experience are essential. There is also an emphasis on having the ability to engage in constructive and challenging discussions with the leadership team, solid people management skills and a collaborative approach with commercial leaders. The leader must be skilled at encouraging the team to adopt a more proactive mindset.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Trade Finance to lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with package system implementation and creating BRDs and FRDs, combined with a strong understanding of Front, Middle, and Back-Office operations. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and experience in large-scale project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Promotion:Validate business requirements using prototyping and use cases.
  Plan and promote user tasks, including design development, testing, and migration, from a BA’s perspective.
  
• Management & Reporting:Monitor task progress, conduct issue and risk management, and provide solutions.
  Offer local insights and feedback to project planning in collaboration with Area PM.
  Prepare regular reports on regional progress, challenges, and successes for BA leads.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in package system implementation (CGI preferred).
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
• Expertise in at least one domain within Trade Finance (Front, Middle, or Back Office).
• Experience in banking as an employee or consultant.
• Experience in project implementation from the user side, with a preference for large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region to gather requirements and collaborate with teams.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to take on challenges.
• Experience in collecting business requirements and standardizing workflows across entities.
