This role primarily supports SEA financial forecast and Business Finance activities. The employee will support various aspects of the business financials to enable better decision making and improve the financial positions with analysis, management reporting, and financial operations. The role also supports regional SOX controls & enhancements for the CSBG business.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze and business partnering with operations to present financial information in a timely manner to enable decision making and meeting the financial accountability of the organization to various stakeholders.
Responsible in forecast inputs, analysis and period close journals of revenue, costs, spending to ensure high level of accuracy between forecast and actuals. Recommend financial solutions to improve profitability, AR collectability and ease of revenue recognition. Involve in Business Finance Operations: AR collection, manage revenue rebate programs, and resolve issues relating to GST, rebates, that may implicate AR / Revenue recognition.
Compliance analysis and reporting relating to regional SOX controls of customer transactions in Spares, Upgrades, Services & Reliant system businesses. Drive regional SOX controls enhancements for CSBG business.
Undertake streamlining projects and initiatives involving systems improvement, reporting improvement.
Matrix accountability to respective supervisor.

Job Requirements:
Accounting / Finance or Business Degree with Finance modules;
At least 10 years of Finance / Accounting experience with > 5 years of recent experience in Analysis & at least 1-2 years handling SOX tasks.
Experience in supporting business finance operations (Revenue Recognition, manage rebate programs, AR collection, etc.)
Past experience in systems improvement or streamlining projects would be advantage.
Audit background preferred and/or good knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore FRS.
Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills. Out-going personality and successful examples in cross-functional collaboration, managing difficult work partners.
Is meticulous and maintains detailed and accurate accounting records. Efficient in time-management and fast in execution.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
Proven experience in the trade-in, resale, or electronics refurbishment industry
Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing models, and customer behavior in the refurbished electronics sector
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in financial planning, data analysis, and project management
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with large-scale trade-in programs or refurbishing operations
Knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance in electronics resale
Expertise in managing partnerships with carriers, retailers, and third-party logistics providers

To source lower cost and better service with approved vendors and co-loaders, to maximize monthly Ocean GP and provide good rate and service to sales to secure more business.
To work with Ocean leader to come out workable and aggressive yearly BP and Budget.
Reply overseas offices the daily rate request as well as RFQ /Bidding.
Other assignment by management if any.
