Main Purpose

Ensure that cargoes and storage facilities are financed in a timely manner and that the risks (other than market exposure) to which the group is exposed are properly analysed, monitored, mitigated and laid off. Key Responsibilities

· PR-type role with respect to banks, customers etc.

Our client is an established and blue-chip PE/investment firm. It invests in private equity funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make private equity (“PE”) accessible to a broader group of investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance: Good knowledge of Fund accounting with a focus on private equity. Well versed in accounting principles (IFRS), finance and statutory accounts preparation. Knowledge of tax which include corporate income tax, GST, transfer pricing, FATCA/CRS.
• Attention to Details: Good sense of governance and controls principles.
• Stakeholder management: This role requires a proactive individual who can work alongside the team, drive operational excellence, and foster a collaborative environment. This role work closely with the investment team to engage private equity fund managers to gather necessary information and resolve any due diligence-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Fund Finance, with a focus on private equity funds.
• Skills: Good understanding of private equity fund structures, investment strategies, and operational processes, particularly those of managers in Europe and North America. Technical understanding of cyber and information security controls is preferred. Additional knowledge of private credit funds is a plus but not a must.

The Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Finance Manager, (internal title: Plant Controller) will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the management team of a manufacturing facility enabling strong business performance and ensuring adequate controls. The position will provide day to day support to the management team in line with the performance objectives of the Manufacturing Director and in compliance with company controls and compliance. Job Responsibilities:

JOB DESCRIPTION

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Import Letter of Credit
Check LC/SBLC draft from supplier against purchase contract/deal recap and the governance trade
rules
Send LC/SBLC draft to issuing bank to vet through
Liaise with contract and operation colleagues for any issues pertaining to the LC issuance
Together with the observations from the issuing banks, send the final draft to supplier for acceptance
before issuance
Once draft accepted, prepare bank application and obtain authorized signatory for issuing bank’s
issuance
Email to supplier a copy of the LC/SBLC after issuance and update into report timely

Export Letter of Credit
Provide LC/SBLC draft to customers as well as check LC/SBLC draft from customers before
issuance
Ensure LC/SBLC draft complies with our sales contract and the governance trade rules
Ensure LC to be issued from our approved bank lists. If not, LC to add confirmation
Liaise with contract and operation colleagues for any issues pertaining to the LC issuance
Once draft accepted, customers to issue LC/SBLC and after receipt of LC copy from bank, ensure it
was issued in good order before informing operations on loadings to be commenced

Expenses reimbursement and vendor payment
Prepare all payment vouchers for employee reimbursement and vendor payments
Issue cheques for reimbursement less than S$1,000

Cash Flow
Maintain cashflow and ensure funds are duly received or paid to avoid any late receipt or payment
Daily update cashflow positions

Reports
Maintain bank charges or interest report by sub-books
Update “HYII Facilities Position FY18” daily for review

Others
Proper filing of LC documents
Verify all LC commissions, related bank charges are correct
Any Ad-Hoc duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Diploma/ Degree in accountancy or finance. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

The Role

• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will monitor cash flow movement on a regular basis and perform all margining processes, including fund allocations, daily FX forecast and market price movements across the APAC region.

You will play a crucial role in our treasury operations, supporting our growth strategy within the APAC region

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cash flow movement on a regular basis and perform all margining processes, including fund allocations, daily FX forecasts, and market price movements.
• Compile and integrate cash flow forecasts from various departments and prepare a consolidated report.
• Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows to ensure prompt receipts from customers and timely payments to suppliers within the APAC region.
• Work closely with Shipping Operations to monitor shipments, ensure correct security before cargo release, and provide timely and accurate finance-related costs for MTM updating.
• Prepare and/or second-check all necessary trade documents (e.g., bank cover letters, drafts, commercial invoices) to ensure acceptability to banks and counterparties.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments such as cargo, freight, brokerage, and warehouse fees to maintain smooth operations
• Oversee the management of all banking facilities granted by principal bankers.
• Handle day-to-day bank relationships and utilization, placing transactions with our suite of financing banks.
• Liaise with banks throughout the transaction lifecycle to address concerns and issues promptly.
• Prepare management reports and contribute to ad-hoc treasury projects.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of treasury experience.
• Prior relevant working experience in trade finance and cash management is required.
• Prior relevant working experience in commodity industry is a MUST.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management, FX hedging strategies.
• Demonstrate knowledge in LC transactions, including understanding LC terms, issuance, document presentation, and negotiation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
