About the Team

Our Infrastructure Engineering organization build and operate hyper-scale datacenters, manage the life cycle of server fleet, allocate cloud resources and create various cloud solutions, and provide infrastructure services including widely distributed Content Distribution Networks (CDNs). The Infrastructure Platform team build and leverage various platforms and toolings to manage and interact with our infrastructures and services, including end-to-end capacity delivery, asset management, data center infrastructure management, system engineering, server fleet management, financial operation, governance, risk, and compliance, etc. To support the fast growth and improve operation efficiency, these platforms need to be feature rich, easy to use, scalable, agile and compliant to with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with engineering, UI/UX, and other cross-functional teams on cutting edge technologies to define infrastructure platforms.

- Understand the cloud and physical data center ecosystem, market, competition, and user requirements in depth.

- Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms, and identify partnership and collaboration opportunities. - Decompose complex solutions into iterative chunks of work, and make the difficult and high-judgment trade-offs between features and time-to-market.

- Create strategic product roadmaps, coordinate and manage the product development schedule.

Qualifications

Mininum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree (or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience) in Computer Science or related engineering fields.

- More than 5 years experience in building/shipping cloud and infrastructure products, and familiar with product development life cycles.

- Hands-on experience in designing and managing data center and server delivery, asset management software and services.

- Experience in driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

- Experience with agile project management and tools such as Jira.

- Strong communication skills to manage a large degree of interaction with cross-functional teams and customers.

- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

- Ability to articulate product requirements per the audience (high level to deep low level technical).

Job description:

Financial Reporting/ Closing:

• Manage the general ledger (including posting journal entries, maintaining chart of accounts, and accurate transaction coding)
• Conduct regular GL account reconciliations to validate balances and promptly rectify any disparities.
• Assist in closing of accounts as assigned, including preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in gathering financial information requested by internal/external auditors and regulators.
• Monitor and assess the impact of financial trends on the organization’s financial stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting.

Control and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance to financial regulations and adherence with local and international accounting standards.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns.
• Collaborate with tax advisors to optimize the organization's tax position.

Ad Hoc Projects:

• Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned, such as, system implementations, or process improvement.
• Support development and maintenance of an efficient financial system.

Qualifications:

• Full set accounting knowledge is required
• Minimum diploma in accounting (with at least 2 to 3 years working experience in education and charity sector would be preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
• Team-oriented individual with resourcefulness and effective communication skills.
• Process strong analytical skill, meticulous and able to work independently.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

1. Support Department Head to:

• Supervise a team staff to oversee smooth operations flow in meeting the company's objectives and key performance indicators.
• Ensure the internal control framework is in place.
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting on sub-ledger including bank recompilation and accounts analysis.
• Continuously evaluate policies and procedure, tweak processes to gain productivity and seek compliance with internal controls.
  

2. Effective Change Manager

• Drive changes in Finance Ops processes to meet changes in business requirements.
• Keep updated on technological advancements in AP/AR systems arena and review/evaluate their suitability for the business.
• Implement best practices to AR/AP process
  

3. Responsible for following up on the abnormalities detected by Data Analytics and report on findings from the investigation.

4. Liaise with internal and external auditors, bankers, other divisions and external vendors on payment related matters.

Project Management:

1. Driving process simplification and lead the implementation of standardization and scalable processes.
2. Participate in the implementation and maintenance of technology driven initiatives (e.g. Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics).
3. Involve in the development, migration and enhancement of the Source systems and Finance system.'

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
2. At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience.
3. Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (eg SAP, Workday)
4. Experience with system changes implementation and UAT.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint
6. Sound knowledge of GST and Withholding tax
7. Audit experience would be a plus.
