Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and negotiate contracts for marine construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including preparation, execution, and close-out, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
• Provide advice and guidance to project teams and senior management on contractual matters, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance teams to ensure contractual terms align with project objectives and budgets.
• Monitor contract performance and identify any issues that may affect the timely and successful completion of marine projects.
• Draft and review contractual documents, including tenders, proposals, and variations.
• Ensure that contracts comply with all relevant laws, including marine construction regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards.
• Maintain records of all contractual documentation and correspondence for audit and compliance purposes.
• Resolve disputes and facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to senior management for optimizing contract processes and mitigating potential risks.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in contract management within the marine construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of marine construction processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, particularly contract law and legal principles.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess risk and implement effective risk management strategies.
• Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Duties:

1. Oversee the day to day running of the Restaurant.

2. Oversee the service of the Restaurant.

3. Promote the Restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.

4. Manage all marketing and advertising activities and/or opportunities for the Restaurant.

5. Oversee the content, design, delivery and quality of all marketing, promotion and publicity materials, programs and services.

6. In charge of cost control ensuring that the monthly cost of sales and operational expenses of the Restaurant, is capped at an acceptable range.

7. Conduct and participate in monthly physical stock take of the Restaurant as well as other location where physical stocks are kept, including but not limited to glassware, plateware and crockery.

8. Ensure orderliness in the Restaurant.1. Ensure team briefings are carried out before each service period.

9. Ensure that no standing bills stays on the system, and account for all voided bills.

10. Take immediate action to deal with all guests’ complaints.

11. Handle emergency and difficult situations.

12. Participate in monthly physical stock take of the Restaurant, including but not limited to plates and utensils.

13. Attend all team briefs as required.

Job Description:

- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project

- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities

- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities

- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed

- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Requirements:

- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

- Good knowledge of MS Office

- Familiarity with construction/ project management software

- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- A team player with leadership abilities

- BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field

- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
