Job description
Admin & Account in charge of all aspects of admin and accounting work, produce full set of accounts for Group and subsidiaries. The manager is responsible for daily operation activities of accounting to ensure the function of finance is organized and filings for administrative work must be well maintained. She must provide accurate financial statements and management accounts monthly to accomplish compliance with corporate policies and statutory reports requirements.
The manager demonstrates a leading role in working with a team of finance, admin, purchasing and sales to comply with good internal control, liaison with external auditors, bankers, authorities and regulators. The manager must keep update with the changing of statutory FRS requirements and tax laws to determine the implications of such changes to internal financial reporting.
Strong analysis of data helps to improve the performance of finance and position of the Organisation, develop good internal control that is applicable, suitable for accounting policies to meet all requirements of reporting. Monthly and yearly reports are required by the management, the manager may require working with the other department leaders to help the Organisation's overall internal admin & account strategies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General accounting functions
1. Responsible for daily activities of admin & accounting and filing system to ensure all functions are well organized
2. Implement policies and procedures with emphasis of SOP for internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors
3. Calculate costs for different types of activities and cost controls for each department
4. Defining specific deadlines for the monthly closing and yearly closing and ensures compliance with the same.
5. Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations are properly supported and documented.
6. Ensure the correctness and classification of expenses recorded in the SAP system.
7. Extract data and provide analysis to the management for decision making
8. Manage accounts payable and receivables, budget and forecast activities to help the organisation determine the working capitals and fund strategies
9. Prepare assets, liability, prepayment, accrue accounting entries
10. Prepare financial statements and disclosure notes
11. Reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Statement of Equity of both holding and subsidiary company
12. Prepare consolidated management reports and provide analysis and recommendations to the directors to improve the company’s performance
13. Manage to update on Chart of Accounts and other accounting information
14. Liaise with external auditors and ensure all accounts are in place for the annual financial year-end audit
15. Liaise with SAP consultant regarding accounting and administrative SAP functions and improvements of various standard financial reports when necessary

16. Ensures timely renewal of company insurance policies
17. Ensures timely renewal of company electrical license and renewal of contract with electric power retailers.
18. Administrative works for EDG project supported with government grants
19. Ensures availability of office supplies
20. Other admin ad-hoc duties as required
