AlwaysHired is representing our client, an established leading healthcare service provider, to recruit for a Finance Executive on a 12-month contract. This role would be key in assisting on the staff donation process and other donation and fundraising matters, as well as ensuring that all donations collected are properly accounted for and reconciled.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between the Advancement Office and Finance HQ for all fundraising and donation matter, in particular managing the staff donation process.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of staff donations across the group company entities through preparation and analysis of regular reports.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders such as HR, Payroll, Shared Services, Finance and Advancement Office to ensure seamless operations of the staff donation process.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to staff donations through regular report monitoring and communication with relevant parties.
• Collaborate with team members and other key stakeholders in streamlining the donation process.
• Assist Finance and Advancement office in collating the information needed for reports such as annual reports, progress reports to donors, publication etc.
• Any other ad-hoc projects related to the group company's charities, or administration of fundraising matters.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 3 years of working experience in administration.
• Experience in coordination roles, preferably within a large organization.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description:

• Handle General Ledger, Monthly and Year End Closing
• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of full set accounts
• Responsible for month/year end financial and management reports
• Prepare fixed assets schedules and bank reconciliation
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and confirmation
• Review the work of Accounts Assistants to ensure the accuracy of daily sales revenue and expenses
• Prepare and submit of quarterly GST returns
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent and company secretary for statutory filings and relevant documetation
• Assisting any ad-hoc activities assigned in relation to the operation of the business
• Fully responsible for monthly AR and ensure customers’ payment on time
• Competent knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and other finance/ statutory requirements
• Assist in the implementation of internal controls. i.e., Process and Compliances to group's requirements and policies
• Assist Inventory management, e.g.: Stock take, Monitoring and prepare monthly expiry stock report
• Do credit review for new customers and update their profile in system regularly
• Create payment advise in bank system
• Prepare and send E-Statement and collect payment
• Prepare and submit tax computation including GST
• Prepare audit schedules including drafting financial statements for year-end audit
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecast – Analyze data to operations team – Monitor daily cash flow
• Liaise with software consultant in relation to the system improvement / customization reports as required and involving in system troubleshoot

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a similar field of study
• Diploma in Accounting
• Experience with accounting system, Odoo is an advantage
• Advanced MS Office Skills with strong Excel proficiency

Duration: 3 months contract - Temp role (Jan 2025- Mar 2025)

Location: Changi Airport

Salary up to S$5,000

Job Responsibilities:

1. Retrieve and enter data from online systems.
2. Classify assets for property tax according to predefined rules.
3. Develop process flow charts for GST Assisted Compliance Assurance Program (ACAP).
4. Conduct historical trend analysis and ratio analysis on financial/tax data.
5. Handle any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Taxation/Accountancy/Finance.
• At least 1-3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile all incoming commission payments from insurers/providers, ensuring accurate matching with inception reports.
• Upload and process accurate reports into the commission system for bi-weekly payroll submissions to advisors.
• Address queries from advisors regarding any discrepancies or miscalculations in commission payments.
• Manage the firm's cash flow, including the collection of invoices and coordination with an external accounting firm to prepare monthly financial reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in an insurance-related or financial advisory firm in Singapore.
