Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and department heads, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analytics. You will ensure statutory reporting, financial audits, and the implementation of an effective internal control framework. Additionally, you will play a key role in the transition process as the hospital scales to its redeveloped campus.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the Finance team in monthly and year-end financial reporting, statutory audits, and compliance
• Drive efficient annual budgeting and projection activities, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support senior management’s decision-making in operationalising organisation strategies
• Regularly review and streamline budgeting, accounting, and reporting processes to achieve operational excellence and quality goals
• Oversee subvention/ capitation funding matters, collaborate with internal stakeholders on case propositions and funding approval requests, and refine these as needed to address sustainability concerns
• Review the organisation's financial risk register periodically and work with Risk teams to ensure effective internal controls and governance
• Assist or lead in ad-hoc projects as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree level in Finance/ Business or related studies
• 15 years of similar work experience, preferably in healthcare and at least 8 years in a supervisory or management role will be advantageous
• Knowledge in health finance and economics is preferred, and experience in digital transformation or digital application in business finance is an advantage
• Proficiency in SAP (FI-CO, MM) or S4/HANA, MS Office applications and data visualisation tools
• Proven ability to manage teams through change, with strong business partnering skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, senior management, and stakeholders
• Agile mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity, coupled with strong financial modelling, and in-depth knowledge across financial accounting, planning, analytics, and enterprise risk management

ADDITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be present and commit to menu development days by participating in food passion sessions
• To take responsibility for contributing towards your development with guidance of the Restaurant/General Manager and attend training courses as identified

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibility for the corporate accounting for group internal and external financial reporting.
2. Prepare monthly / quarterly/yearly financial reporting to the management and Head Office for review.
3. Prepare annual and 5-year budgets for the management and Head Office.
4. Manage the statutory taxation obligations - prepare GST and income tax reports and calculations.
5. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory agents on audit, tax, and any other related matters.
6. Prepare the documents/reports required by Head Office.
7. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, preferably with 5 years of working experience in the related field, audit background is preferred but not compulsory;
2. Candidate with Singapore CA, ACCA, or other qualification body member is preferred;
3. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written;
4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Apps, candidate with VBA skills is preferred.
