The Courage Chapter has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Finance Executive for our client, a Non-Governmental Organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, Fixed assets, GL, banking transactions and timely preparation of monthly financials schedules and statistics for the management and the Board’s review.
• Support the full cycle of the internal and external audit.
• Prepare the yearly budget, mid-year budget review and monitor actual expenditure against budget.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and any other statutory filing as and when required.
• Cashflow management including investments accounting and reporting.
• Review and ensure compliance with Finance policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance guidelines as stipulated by the regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Commissioner of Charities, and National Council of Social Service, etc.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, corporate secretarial agent, and other external parties such as financial institutions.
• Support Sub-committees and Board meetings, including presentation and writing of minutes.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects including process improvements.
• Adhere to Company's policies (including PDPA and staff-related) and procedures diligently, carry out duties in accordance with the specified service level and in good governance, observe client's information, confidentiality, and conduct oneself professionally when interacting with internal and external parties.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• ACCA/CPA or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or equivalent
• Minium 3 years relevant working experiences
• Able to work in a team and detailed oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills to supervise Finance Executive(s)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial regulations
• Strong team player with an independent work ethic and strong drive to complete assigned tasks and projects

Job Description & Requirements

• The incumbent shall be part of the Finance Shared Services (FSS) team responsible for projects pertaining to e-forms & workflow system. The person shall work in close liaison with project managers and institution stakeholders to meet the projects’ timeline.
• Manage Fixed Assets & Accounts Receivable, Sundry Billing’s projects to meet projects’ timeline.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to collate and consolidate e-forms approving matrix, routing and system requirements, and where possible to standardize / streamline processes.
• Draft system specification documentation for new e-forms development.
• Perform end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collect participating users’ UAT results, collect data for system tables set-up for UAT and production system.
• Monitor and ensure all UAT issues are resolved promptly by the system developer / vendor to meet the project timeline.
• Monitor project activities and its data submission are in compliance to institution’s operation requirement.
• Conduct system demos / end-user trainings as and when required.
• Handle enquiries from users on matters relating to e-forms & workflow system.
• Generate reports for dashboard and data analytic purpose.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Finance Sector, with basic knowledge of Accounting.
• Possess strong IT skills & proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Decision software / SAP is preferred.
• High integrity, meticulous and proactive.
• Independent with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and under tight deadlines during project implementation phase.
• Proficient in articulation and presentation skills.
• Customer service orientated with good service attributes and team spirit to achieve win-win outcome
