Primary Purpose

The Senior Executive for Regional Admin Finance will support the finance department in various administrative and financial tasks. This role involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end closing processes and company projects. The assistant will collaborate with different corporate functions to ensure efficient financial operations and contribute to informed business decisions.

Key Accountabilities

• Review and validate Corporate Packages to ensure adherence to reporting requirements.
• Prepare and generate monthly reports for corporate function heads.
• Prepare monthly Corporate SGA and Capex reports for stakeholders.
• Distribute the Corporate Datapack to Business Centers (BCs) and ensure the analysis and landing forecasts are accurate and meaningful.
• Conduct monthly reviews of Corporate SGA intercompany transactions within the APAC region.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as required.
• Collaborate with various finance functions to enhance processes and improve financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing budget guidance and budget templates.
• Provide support in the SGF Administration process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (FP&A, Accounting, local Finance teams, corporate function members etc).
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and involvement in projects as Region Finance resource as needed.

Formal Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Experience

Monitor the main economic indicators of his/her Division and implement the necessary arbitration in relation to the objectives defined by the Senior Management of Zone.

• Contribute to the development of the Division by advising its Senior Management on the best economic choices to be implemented.

• Take every initiative required to bring about development and economic optimization in the countries comprising his/her Zone.

• Participate in setting the economic objectives of the Division in the Zone and carrying out the necessary arbitration to ensure that balance is maintained between the different countries and brands.

• Lead the process of drafting the Plan, Budget and Trends for the Division.

• Undertake all analyses required to measure the economic performance of the Division and take the measures appropriate to attaining the objectives.

• Implement processes, Group systems and procedures to guarantee the coherence, relevance, and reliability of management information flows and financial flows in line with the Group's Standards.

This pivotal role will focus on providing financial stewardship and strategic guidance within the Vision Care Cluster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing financial literacy, ensuring accurate forecasting, managing distributor relationships, and maintaining a compliant operating environment. You will also be leading a team of finance analysts, based across APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial stewardship and budgetary ownership for the Vision Care Cluster, ensuring robust financial governance.
• Collaborate with the Regional Marketing team to provide franchise finance partnering and strategic insight into franchise projects and initiatives.

The Role

To assist in the development, performance and maintenance of the financial activities of the organisation's Funds & Portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Fund & Portfolio Finance

· Prepare accurate and timely reports for

o quarterly Trust accounts

o quarterly Singapore VCC entities accounts

o quarterly investors’ report

o monthly asset performance metrics

o monitoring of debtors ageing and cashflow planning

· Coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely preparation of annual Trust audited Financial Statements in accordance to applicable accounting standards

· Coordinate with tax agent on preparing and lodgement of quarterly BAS/GST remission, annual tax returns with ATO & IRAS (depending on the applicable jurisdictions of the funds and investments)

· Maintain updated record of all external bank loans, ensure loan covenants are not breached and liaise with external financiers

· Liaise with financiers for loan related matters including loan covenant compliance certificate, maintain and update records for bank & intercompany loan, cashflow planning for operations/ loan repayment.

· Investor onboarding, AML & KYC, preparation of share statement/distribution statement, MAS reporting & survey, liaise with investor on investment matters

· Prepare annual Trusts budgets, variance analysis for management and investors

· Assist with Net Asset Value, distribution computations, and prepare investor documentation

· Liaise with Trustee for instructions and compliance matters, and respond to queries

Fund Operation

· Reviewing Fund Constitution to determine Distributable income. Obtaining approval of the Investment manager, Trustee and investors to execute distributions, including preparation of instruction letter, distribution notices, and payment of distribution.

· Arranging Fund subscription letter and instructing Trustee to allot units to subscriber, maintaining unit register and certificates.

· Conduct compliance risk assessment, including KYC / AML for the fund and investors.

Implementation

· Collaborate with stakeholders from accounting, finance, and other relevant departments to understand current processes and pain points.

· Document functional and technical requirements for the new software, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

· Create and deliver training materials and sessions for accounting and finance teams to ensure smooth adoption of the new software.

Relevant skills:

• Ability to interpret, recommend and apply accounting standards relevant to real estate funds
• Possess good interpersonal skills when approaching various service providers for information request and while managing them on ongoing basis
