VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT solution is proven to be one of the safest, most durable and environmentally friendly battery technologies.

VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU. VFT founders and management team have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology.

We are looking for a Finance/Accounts intern with strong execution and organizational skills and are willing to go the extra mile. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and interfaces with internal stakeholders and Finance staff.

• Recommends improvement actions by analyzing real financial data and supporting new system implementation.
• Participate in automation and digitalisation initiatives to improve financial insights and reporting processes.
• Build and maintain financial models to support financial projections.
• Assist in preparation of key decision-making tools for management.
• Assist and prepare any required tools in the management reporting or decision process, including ensuring accuracy of data and format for submission.
• Provide accounting support including all month end closing process to ensure books are closed on time and accurate.
• Prepare invoices, update accounting files, as and when required.
• Ensure timely, accurate data entry, filing and recording of financial information.
• Perform billing and administrative duties.
• Liaise with suppliers on payment matters.

Role Requirements:

• Graduated/about to graduate in Business, Accountancy, or a related field.
• Prior work experience with finance or accounts is a plus.
• Competent in handling of MS Office applications (in particular MS Excel and MS Word).
• Commitment, ability to work independently, motivated and accurate.

I. Job Responsibilities

1. Manage daily and routine department administration and operations at HQ.
2. Provide support to Joint Ventures(JVs) representatives stationed in China.
3. Aid in collection of financial reports, sort and analyse relevant financial matters.
4. Handle overseas travel matters for the team members, i.e. TR-form preparation/submission, visa application and trip claim.

Job Description

1. Supervise a team of QC Officers in all factories.
2. Guide and troubleshoot for any equipment issues, co-ordinate with external service providers Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated in a timely manner and update calibration records. Assist to keep, control, and confirm formulation and blending procedures.
3. Respond to new and existing customers for inquiries related to quality control Conduct quality testing and communicate product specification issues. Conduct nonconforming material or nonconforming product analysis.
4. Participate in the root cause analysis of nonconforming goods.
5. Follow the instructed corrective actions and preventive actions by superiors. Establish formulation and blending procedures as needed.
6. Keep and monitor retain samples of products
7. Validate COA of raw materials received and communicate any issues to the procurement and Plant Manager Establish, update and issue GHS SDS.
8. Create certificate of analysis (COA) of products.
9. Confirm and provide resources for the laboratory and other QCR needs.
10. Coordinate sample delivery as required by the customer.
