About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with external auditors on annual financial audits and ensure audited accounts are filed with ACRA on time.

• Partner closely with the accounting outsourcing team to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing. Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance management role.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial planning and business performance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, investment and risk management activities.

- You will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and adhere to corporate reporting timetables. You will also assist in implementation of management and administrative financial systems to provide structure for sustained business growth.

- To ensure compliance with established financial processes, compliance requirements, financial reporting and review of revenue, expenditures, asset management, tax, management reporting and administration.

- You will be responsible for the implementation of finance strategies and objectives. You will manage and liaise with external auditors and tax agents.

-You need to possess the knowledge to evaluate the company's P&L and also plan for effective finance strategies.

Requirements:

- Possess a degree in accounting or finance with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

- Prior experiences from the F&B industry is an advantage.

- Have a strong understanding in inventory management and costing.

- Possess strong communication and presentation skills.

We’re looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for running the accounting, financial and tax activities at Carousell. She/He will be involved in the financial operations of the Company’s subsidiaries and provide financial information to other departments, enabling them to make critical decisions.

You will be involved in:

• Month-end book closing; handling full set of accounts, prepare bank reconciliation, prepare audit schedules and reconciliation of all balance sheets and variance analysis on P/L accounts
• Maintenance of transactional documents including agreements, invoices etc
• Work with Shared Services team for AR/AP transaction processing; recording bills/invoices into the accounting system and initiate payments
• Work with Shared Services team for Fixed asset management; updating fixed asset additions and disposals on timely basis
• Quarterly GST return, assist in annual audit, ECI/annual tax return and liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local statutory laws and regulations
• Design and implementation of system and control governance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Liaise with the auditors on annual audits and address any accounting and control issues proactively

You are/have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance industry
• Minimum qualification of degree in accounting or ACCA
• A high level of rigour, energy, discipline to operate both independently and in team
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment where continuous learning and adapting is required to support business growth and experimentation
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
• Ability to create automation report via jotform, google sheet would be an added advantage
• Experience in e-commerce or retail a strong plus
• Experience in Netsuite and Peakflo would be an added advantage

Job Scopes

• Keep track and sorting of invoices

- Keep track and look for missing invoices (invoices that are not back yet, invoices that are given back to

customer)

- Print invoices that are not back and pass back to driver for signature and chop.

- Photocopy incorrect invoice for credit notes, debit note and other corrections.

- Make sure the customer and driver sign and chop on the invoices.

- Print missing NTUC invoices, Goods Received Note or Purchase invoice for filing if it is found on the website.

- Modify and print out daily list for invoice sorting.

- Ask for reason as to why the invoices are not back yet.

- Scan invoices requested by customer

• Matching for DFI and NTUC invoices.

a. Update Excel for both DFI and NTUC

b. NTUC

- Photocopy incorrect invoices and print out Purchase Order for Credit note, Debit Note.

- Inform Order desk to ask the customer to reopen or modify purchase order if they are closed, incorrect

or did not open purchase order.

- Scan and submit invoices for matching.

- Look for Purchase order/ Good Received note on the website if the invoice is returned without the

Purchase Order and Good Received note Number/ Attachment.

- Submit the Credit note/Debit note along with invoices.

c. DFI

- Create/modify master list to be submitted to DFI for invoices that needs to be rectify or added in for

matching.

- Photocopy the incorrect invoices and submit to DFI.

- If Credit note is done, ensure the amount is correct and submit.
