Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager / Site Manager to plan, manage, and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of the desired quality.

Support Project Manager / Site Manager in the volume business through coordination, follow-up, and reporting the progress and quality of the overall project.

Be in-charge of leading and managing the installation team to ensure safe, high quality, and complete-on-time delivery of organization projects and solutions.

Responsible for effective site administration which includes site safety and control of materials/plants on site.

Ensure that all Safety compliance and processes are adhered to by all workers.

Assist to manage and monitor site operations, workers, and vendors.

Responsible for coordination and supervision to ensure works are carried out efficiently and on schedule.

Able to communicate to all levels and attend site meetings including every morning safety meeting with all the workers on a daily basis.

● This is not an office type of job : All workers are required to perform hands-on operations duties.

● Works could be exhausting physically. Works are usually done outdoors (non-aircon environment)

● Packing and Crating of bulky/heavy items

● Perform manual packing & crating related duties, eg : wrapping, labeling, sealing, carting... etc

● Other general works & housekeeping duties

● Assist the Operation Superintendent/Operation Head in co-ordinating & executing field operations, procurements, follow-up & reporting...etc

● Hands-on operation capabilities, trouble-shooting & problems solving skills

● Attentive to Details, and able to work independently

● Works hand-in-hand with vendors to complete work tasks. Able to work well with all walks, especially senior citizens.

● Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

● Adhere to Works Safety SOP

Requirements:

● Teamwork is essential.

● Workplace is at the client’s location within Singapore (mostly at Changi North Industrial area currently whilst also at other locations)

● Work is usually done outdoors (non-aircon environment), we are not office-bound or desk-bound.

● Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; Training and guidance will be provided.

● Candidate with hands-on operation capabilities, problem-solving skills, proactive & good performance will be placed on Career Progression Plan with the company

● Candidates with Forklift Operator Licence, Work-At-Height related, Class3 License, are highly preferred but not a prerequisite ; Company would require candidates to attend/obtain relevant skills upgrades.

Remuneration/Working hours:

● Monthly Salary range - $2600 to $2800 (adjustable after satisfactory performance probation period )

● Due to our work nature, work Hours/Schedule could be odd, but usually are : Monday to Saturday : 9am to 5pm+/- (estimated only) - work end-time could be flexible.

● Although not frequent, Extended work-hours may be required if workloads are heavy on certain day(s). Time-off will be arranged for extended work-hours done.

Performance Probation/Observation period :

- Candidate will be required to undergo probation period between 3months to 6months. The actual probation period will highly depend on candidate's performance & commitment.

About the Position

SRS is currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable Security Control Center Supervisor to join one of its most prestigious contracts in Singapore. The selected candidate will be exposed to a high-performance environment that is fast-paced, and dynamic; supporting the round-the-clock operations at the dedicated APAC Security Control Center.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the ASCC Manager and work in a team of other Supervisors, Specialists, a Security Systems Supervisor and an Intel Analyst.
• Oversee workflow, monitor and account for performance of ASCC Specialist.
• Exercise level of leadership, management and supervision.
• Ensure all functions of the APAC Security Control Center are carried out in an efficient and effective manner whilst providing maximum security support.
• Manage and coordinate security communications operations ensuring that security procedures are implemented and followed as per the ASCC Procedures (SOPs);
• Ability to perform well and maintain a high degree of professionalism and service on a routine basis, during emergency situations or under extreme pressure;
• Coordinate the daily development and dissemination of intelligence and operationally based reports to support our Global Security and regional business partners.
• Support 24/7 scheduling and coverage for the ASCC;
• Coordinate and support emergency and crisis management assets providing a timely and coherent response to incidents as they arise;
• Liaise with Regional Security Managers, Regional Intel, Regional Ops, Risk and Crisis Management and all other required company personnel to ensure that all relevant security information is disseminated in a timely manner.
• Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of all ASCC programs and procedures;
• Partner with and communicate with global security partners to conduct tactical security assessments as required, and where necessary provide feedback on proposed mitigation strategies for country and regional specific threats;
• Execute the design and implementation of project related security strategies, security policies/ standards and establish a concrete course of action for their implementation and review;
• Provide support by monitoring open sources for breaking news and current events that affect the company, its employees, and guests across Asia Pacific.
• Liaise with regional security partners to ensure that training procedures and policies are implemented within acceptable standards;
• Maintain close links with key stakeholders to ensure that all projects are implemented with the highest degree of professionalism safety and security;
• Offer management and tactical guidance.
• Support development of policy, procedures and protocols for future ASCC operational and technological integrations.
• Serves as the first responder for information by assisting employees domestically or internationally with security- or travel-related emergencies;
• Have a full understanding of the functions, roles and systems used at all sites, such as Security, Incident management & escalation, CCTV, etc.
• Provides excellent support to regional guests and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by ASCC Management staff or other approved Global Security management.
• Assist in the effective implementation of the regional employee travel safety and security program.
• Ensures proper distribution of notification via our Emergency Mass Notification System (i.e. Everbridge).
• Work as part of a rotating 8-hour shift schedule and ensure continuous functioning of the 24/7 center.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with or in a Communications or Operations Center related operation
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Strategic/Security Studies, Political Science, Business or a related discipline, or any closely related field of study
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Supervisory experience in a related field desired
• The ability to receive and relay direction, and have ability to multi-task and coordinate several incidents at once
• Experience in report writing which may include incident/event analysis, regional risk and business impact analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel including key company executives
• Strong service/interpersonal skills especially during times of crisis
• Strong interest and familiarity with international current events
• Familiarity with tools such as Everbridge (VCC), Intel tools, access control and surveillance tools, etc. is strongly preferred
• Ability to make critical decisions, prioritize issues and initiate appropriate response with minimal supervision
• Sense of urgency in a 24/7 work environment for quick response to critical developing issues

Candidates with the following competencies and personal attributes are preferred:

• Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience is considered
• Familiarity with tools such as Everbridge (VCC), Intel tools, access control and surveillance tools, etc. is strongly preferred
