COMPETENCIES: • Good communication skills • Good organizational skills • Able to supervise staff • Honest and reliable • Use own initiative and be proactive GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Liaise with the Manager on a daily basis regarding current tasks, and assist in the planning of future tasks. • Ensure all assigned duties are carried out, and that resources are efficiently utilized. • Ensure that the school’s policies and procedures are adhered to by staff. • Act as a communication conduit between management and staff. • Maintain and control use of stock, equipment & consumables. • Timeously request purchase of consumables, equipment and materials. • Assist the Manager to maintain the asset register. • Monitor and report absenteeism to the Manager. • Actively promote Health and Safety, and report any breach directly to the Manager. • Ensure that all staff wear all appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities:

• Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff.
• Managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
• Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
• Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
• Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
• Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
• Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
• Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

• Supervising of overall work activities at site.
• Monitor site and ensure work progress area in accordance to drawings and schedule.
• Responsible for the installation works for workers.
• Organize work effectively and efficiently to ensure timely completion of projects by ensuring the installation works are on time/on schedule.
• Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors to ensure the project runs smoothly.
• Ensuring quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with.
• Attend daily site meeting
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
