We are looking for an experienced and independent Finance Manager who will support the Management in overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting as well as the finance functions such as preparing in-depth analysis for management business review and decision making, monitoring budget and forecast for strategic planning.

In charge of all aspects of day-to-day accounting matters and financial operations of the company such as: -

· Monthly/quarterly full set of accounts.

· Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve regional business objectives.

· Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes.

· Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting processes; administer and review all budget forecasts and actual, explain and correct variances on a monthly basis.

· Analysis of Performance – To provide timely, accurate, reliable clear and concise historical and forward-looking analysis on business performance.

· Cash Management – To monitor and plan for the fund management for business operation.

· Preparation of monthly management reports, schedules and other analysis reports like variant analysis.

· Owns and drives continuous improvement activities.

· Assist to identify and implement company/departmental cost savings and efficiencies.

· Responsible for annual statutory audit, taxation matters, quarterly GST reporting.

· Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other policies.

Requirements

· Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or any other recognized professional qualification of the same equivalent.

· Minimum 8 years of similar experience

· Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.

Well organized, meticulous, analytical and can work independently.

· Raise Sales Invoices, record receipts

· Processing electronic payments and remittance, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction handling.

· Ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems and maintain up-to-date financial records.

· Process vendor payments and staff claims.

· Perform bank reconciliation

· Maintain a full set of accounts, including the preparation of monthly financial reports for management.

· Manage the daily settlement of transactions, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations of accounts.

· Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports in compliance to statutory requirements.

· To assist with the year-end audits and submission of XBRL.

· Provision of information for income tax reporting.

· Cashflow management to support operational needs.

· Perform any other ad-hoc financial duties as assigned by the finance manager.

Job Description:

The Finance Executive plays a vital role in managing and overseeing all financial transactions and operations within the hotel. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial data, maintaining records, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. Your attention to detail, ability to manage budgets, and effective communication will contribute to the smooth financial operations of the hotel.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable or accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections according to hotel policies.
• Reconcile supplier invoices and customer payments, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain records of financial transactions and vendor relationships to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed for handling cash transactions and resolve any discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare daily cash reports and ensure all cash-related transactions are accurately recorded.
• Work closely with various departments, such as Sales and Operations, to gather data and ensure financial records reflect accurate operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and hotel policies.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and accurately documented.
• Prepare for audits by maintaining an organized and easily accessible record of financial transactions and documents.
• Maintain financial filing systems and ensure compliance with hotel policies on financial record-keeping.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required by the finance department, supporting senior management in financial operations.
  

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, or similar systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  

• Full scope of finance operation include AR, AP and GL.
• Preparation of Corporate tax submission
• Deal with auditor, tax agent and secretary and law regulatory.
• Familiar with MYOB accounting software
• Collaborate with other department to create project budgets
• To assist purchases and other duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance and Accountancy
• At least 2 years if working experience
• Good communication and written skill
• Independent and able to provide sound judgement

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable information
• Ensure all accounts payable entries are in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Ensure all invoices are validated against supporting documents
• Identify unprocessed invoices for accrual and Capex invoices for capitalization
• Verify and investigate discrepancies in invoices with relevant staff and resolve with suppliers.
• Update Cashbook
• Assist in month end closing activities
• Assist in handling accounts payable related queries from external and internal stakeholders
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy
• At least 1 - 2 years of prior work experience in accounts payable preferred
• Able to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Detail oriented and able to work independently
• Well-organised and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Knowledge in ERP system, e.g. Oracle NetSuite accounting software will be advantageous

Roles And Responsibilities

- Involve in AP/AR/GL activities and responsible for timely closing of monthly accounts, and yearly closing.

- Prepare/assist monthly cash flow report, management report, and supporting schedules timely, project budget review, variance analysis, cash flow forecast report, and any ad-hoc report.

- Assist with retrieving key information or number consolidation work.

- Prepare budgets for Headquarter Expenses and handle necessary forecast.

- Handling of GST Filing, and Corporate Tax.

- Liaise with auditors, government agencies, financial institutions, and tax agents.

- Review Claims to make sure claims are in line with HR policy.

- Assist to liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure necessary changes are communicated to improve the internal controls.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.

- Other Ad-hoc task as assigned by your superior and administrative support and any ad-hoc requirement to the team, management, and related superior.

Requirements and Information

- Worked similar role with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred but not a must. Fresh graduate with the right learning attitude are welcome to apply.

- Hands-on experience construction industry preferred but not must.

- Diploma in Accounting / Degree in Accounting / LCCI / ACCA or equivalent.

- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
