Job Description
The Finance Manager oversees the financial operations of our HQ and our preschools. The Finance Manager will play a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure the organisation and the preschools' financial health. He/she is someone who is passionate about working in the education sector, understands the intricacies of nonprofit or educational budgeting, and is able to work collaboratively with other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations of the preschools & HQ.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
- Maintain financial records, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage and allocate resources efficiently.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a nonprofit or educational setting.
· Strong knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
Skills:
· Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, MYOB finance software or specialized software).
· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to analyze complex financial data and present it in a clear, concise manner.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
