One of the region’s most reputable shipbuilder is currently hiring for a Finance Manager, Operations to be wholly responsible for the financial aspects of the yard’s operational activities.

• Responsible for the accuracy of costing function and delta costs and cleared and analyze in timely manner
• Carry out credit analysis on potential and existing Clients
• Identify potential financial risks within the operational functions and recommend/implement mitigation applications
• Ensure there is sufficient financial liquidity and cashflow for operational needs, and proper management of financial and interests risks
• Improvise and optimize financial processes, especially on AP/AR functions
• Work closely with internal financial functions (e.g. FP&A and GL) to provide accurate financial reporting
• Initiate inter-department partnerships to develop financial strategies that meet the business objectives
• Build close working relationships with external auditors, tax agents and banks

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/finance or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in Managerial capacity
• Candidates with experience and knowledge in data-analytics/AI application within the financial operations function will have added advantage
• Experience in leading a team with no less than 5 employees
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
• Willing to work at the west

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and HR Executive to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will oversee both the financial operations and human resource functions of the company, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a key role in supporting the company's growth by managing its financial health and fostering a positive workplace culture.

As a Finance and HR Executive, you will be responsible for streamlining financial processes, administering payroll and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and developing HR policies and practices to attract, retain, and develop talent within the organization. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our operations and creating a thriving work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance:

· Prepare monthly financial reports, manage budgets, and monitor cash flow.

· Handle accounts payable/receivable, expense reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.

· Process payroll, including CPF contributions, income tax filings, and other statutory payments.

· Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

· Manage vendor contracts and oversee procurement processes.

Human Resources:

· Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and exit interviews.

· Maintain and update employee records in compliance with Singapore employment laws.

· Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and offer letters.

· Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Organize training and development programs to support employee growth.

· Manage employee benefits programs and address workplace inquiries.

Requirements:

· A degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.

· At least 3 years of experience in a finance or HR role (experience in both is a strong advantage).

· Proficiency in finance tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and HR software.

· Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and financial regulations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
