Company requires a Supervisor with at least 10 years experience in residential building construction.

Experience in both structural and architectural trades. Must be able to attend all meetings with owners, architects, and Technical Controllers.

He reports directly to both AP & TC of the company.

• To supervise team members, e.g. Foremen or General workers.
• To ensure understanding of project scope of works and drawing.
• Attend daily Toolbox meetings at the site.
• Follow the planned progress schedule without compromising quality and safety.
• Understand the work sequence and ensure that the work is performed.
• To educate and brief all workers, foreman & supervisor on safety requirement.
• Make regular site inspections to identify nonconformances.

• Installing and repairing piping Overseeing the installation and repair of piping systems, and ensuring they are done correctly.

• Conduct safety inspection; assess Risk Assessment, incident / accident investigation

• Assist with safety program implementation at workplace

• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Manager on all safety and health issue

• Support and provide mechanical engineering design.
• Handle design works and project management relevant to ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary, and Plumbing.
• Supervise and coach a team of engineers in mechanical services for the project from the concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, and site administration to project completion.
• Act as a mentor to new employees.
• Support technical assistance to engineers and supervisors.
• Advise engineers on project administration and contractual issues.
• Conduct technical discussions on common design problems with engineers.

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineer or equivalent
• Candidate must have min 3 years of relevant working experience in design & construction of ACMV / HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing services.
• Proven track record of working across organization boundaries to define requirements, solve complex problems, and drive programs to successful completion
• Good understanding of the Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission process (LTA / PUB / BCA)
• BIM and CAD capabilities (REVIT / Microstation / Autocad) will be an added advantage.
