Overall job objectives:

1. Achieves operational objectives by recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
2. Responsible for satisfying client requirements and fulfilling national/international regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the lab operation including equipment, employees, supplies, process, inventory, and documentation and operate laboratory in safely manner.
• Develop test capabilities and testing procedure to achieve targeted goals and budgets
• Improve lab process efficiency and cost reduction initiative.
• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates technical and support staff;
• Review and checking reports including Method Validation, External & Internal Correlation, Proficiency, Audit, Technical, Equipment Service etc.
• Involve in setting up, testing and commissioning of system and equipment.
• Handle procurement including quotation request and labware purchase for consumables, apparatus, equipment, instruments, maintenance and repair.

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties of Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor:

• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors to ensure safe and efficient execution of mechanical tasks.
• Develop and update maintenance plans and schedules to minimize production disruptions.
• Analyze equipment performance to identify issues and propose improvements.
• Ensure maintenance plans meet engineering standards and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare maintenance documentation, including checklists and risk assessments.
• Achieve maintenance KPIs and support technician training and development.
• Manage manpower, including overtime and emergency planning.
• Oversee spare parts and warehouse activities, including stock management and ordering.
• Handle service contract scopes, PR, and evaluations.
• Forecast, monitor, and manage maintenance budget.
• Participate in emergency response and assume relevant roles as needed.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related field.
• Min 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and supervisory
