Manager, Financial Planning & Analyst (11 Months), Up $6.5K

Duration: 11 Months Contract

Work Location: Pasir Panjang

Part of the Corporate Group, the Finance Division seeks to perform effective and efficient financial management and control necessary to support all line divisions and business activities within the organisation.

You will be part of a dynamic team, in charge of the financial resource planning and management, including grants.

Responsibilities:

• Business Partners to the line divisions, offering sound advice on financial planning and management issues, programmes funding, operational issues, tax issues and so on.
• Improving budget marksmanship practices by equipping line divisions with readily accessible dashboards and transaction details for their pro-active financial management including re-allocation of resources to maximise the use of funds to achieve good marksmanship.
• Review lines’ submission of Operating / Capex and Programme budget, scrub assumptions / rationale and consolidate the budget requests and assess reasonableness of budget requested with guidance.
• Handling and managing budgets including operating budget, capital budget and government funded
• Programme budgets ensuring optimal use and allocation of funds to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Managing multiple source of funds, liaise with funders to ensure proper accountability, including but not limited to transacting funds drawdown, tracking of utilization, reconciliation and closure.
• Reviewing and providing analysis for actual utilization /marksmanship reporting to management
• Other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, problem solving and good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and able to multitask with minimum supervision
• Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in Accountancy and/or Finance, specifically financial planning & analysis
• Good knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning will be an added advantage
• Familiar with financial planning and reporting solutions
• Proficient in data analytics and visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau

• You implement Management Dashboards, Planning, Budgeting, Reporting and Consolidation applications through Enterprise Performance Management Platform
• You will have opportunity to work on projects that can range from proof of concept to full scope implementations
• You ask questions, determine requirements and needs of the customer
• You design and develop application, taking performance, reporting, workflow, other considerations of customers and turning them into actionable tasks for project delivery.
• You develop application training guide and train customer to ensure project handover and success.
• You will also be required to carry out Pre-sales product demonstration and provide event or trade show support
• You will be provided with the necessary training to be enabled on the software that we use.
